Chris Rock spoke briefly about the Oscars slap on Wednesday’s show in Boston. He noted that he needed time to “process” the attack as his disappointed fans said they wanted more.

The comic (57 years old) took the Wilbur Theatre stage and asked, “How was your weekend?”

This rhetorical question was a huge hit with the audience, who occasionally questioned the Emmy-winning comedian over Will Smith’s onscreen strikes.

Rock, however, warned the crowd that it would continue as scheduled.

‘I don’t have like a bunch of s*** to say about what happened, so if you came to hear that, I had like a whole show I wrote before… this weekend…’ he said to more laughs. “And I am still sort of processing what occurred.

‘So at some time I’ll talk about that s***… and it’ll be serious. It’ll be funny,’ he said before an audience member shouted, ‘F*** Will!’

Rock said, “I’m going to tell some jokes,” and later revealed that he hadn’t spoken with “anyone” since that incident. This was in reference to Smith’s reconciliation.

However, some of the more than 3,000 people who attended the event paid as much as $1,000 for tickets. They were disappointed that the comedian did not address this topic.

Fox News: One person said that they want their money back. He didn’t spend $400 for nothing.
