A £55-million former Anglican church property has had its asking price slashed to less than £40 million after no-one stepped forward to buy it.
St Saviours House can be found just steps from Harrods London Knightsbridge. The 12,000-square foot house boasts 40-foot ceilings and its own spa.
But after going on the market for a staggering £55 million in 2019, the property has been reduced in price by an eye-watering £15 million and is now on offer at £39.5 million.

The former church is said to have been previously owned by the 80-year-old lyricist behind Les Misérables and Miss Saigon, Alain Boublil.

The article described a drawing area with vaulted ceilings that ‘allow you to see up to the heavens’ and gothic archways. It also included seven bedrooms and a grand spiral staircase.
The description said that the property was extremely spacious, with 12,102 sq. feet.
