Do you really need to spend more on Christmas decor? Bargain stores such as Aldi and Matalan’s trinkets cost as little as £5.99 and look IDENTICAL to pricey baubles for more than 10 times the price (but can YOU tell the difference?)
- The cost of Christmas decorations can quickly spiral out of control, from stockings to baubles.
- These lookalikes show that you can achieve this look with less effort.
- FEMAIL found discounted wreaths, tree toppers and skirts with a high price tag that still look like expensive.
The cut-price looksalikes show that you can achieve high-end Christmas style without spending a lot.
The Christmas decorations ranges of Britain’s most beloved budget stores, Matalan and Dunelm have been released in time for the holiday season. They look exactly like high-end designs like Liberty or John Lewis.
A Father Christmas ornament from Harrods, for example, costs £259, but looks strikingly similar to Wayfair’s £57.99 offering. Elsewhere, a £165 Selfridges wreath bears more than a passing resemblance to Matalan’s £15 design.
Lidl is the latest major brand to announce its Christmas offering. It released last week a range of twinkling fairy lights and baubles, starting at 99p.
