A parent told President Joe Biden “Let’s Go Brandon!” Friday, at the White House compound with First Lady Jill Biden during the NORAD Santa Tracker Event.

The couple that hosted the first children, their parents and other family members in South Court Auditorium spoke to them virtually and also shared information.

A dad named Jared beaming in from Oregon said ‘Merry Christmas’ and ‘Let’s Go Brandon’ – code on the right for ‘f**k Joe Biden’ – after his kids told the president what they wanted from Santa Claus.

Biden was unperturbed, according to reporters present in the room. The president replied, “Let’s Go Brandon. I agree.”

The clip of the exchange got immediate reaction online, with conservative blogger Erick Erickson commenting: ‘Confession: I find it in poor taste to tell the President of the United States “Let’s go Brandon” when the man just wanted to wish you Merry Christmas. It is still important to have good manners.

Michael LaRosa, the spokesman for first lady Erickson replied ‘Yep. Erickson’s tweet.

‘I think the let’s go Brandon stuff is harmless and funny, but if you tell someone to go f**k themselves when they are being nice to your kid, you’re just a d**k. Merry Christmas!’ Tommy Vietor was a former adviser to President Barack Obama.

Earlier, the president made a surprise visit to Children’s National Hospital in Washington, D.C. Friday, alongside First Lady Jill Biden – marking the first time a president has accompanied the first lady on the traditional holiday trip.

The hospital has had First Ladies reading Christmas stories since the time First Lady Besstruman was in the post.

A Christmas tree was also placed by the first couple on 17th Street N.W. D.C. at the Floriana Restaurant, decorated with photos of the Bidens including a Jill Biden tree topper.

Dr. Biden chose to read the book Olaf’s Night Before Christmas, starring the popular Frozen character.  Prior to the reading, both parents and patients were consulted by the Bidens.

President: “You bring us joy,” he said.

Commander Biden was spotted on the South Lawn Friday morning, at the hospital the president showed the kids pictures of the new puppy and said he might visit the hospital come summer

Commandant Biden was seen at South Lawn on Friday morning. The president also showed the children photos of the puppy, and suggested that he could visit the hospital this summer.

He said to one boy, “My grandson loves lasertag” and then told Beau (a patient) that he was the father of a son and grandson named Beau. The children were fond of lantern making.

The first lady said to the medical staff, “Thank you to all nurses and doctors who made them feel better,”

This week the Bidens welcomed a new member to their family, Commander the German Shepherd puppy, who was presented by the president’s brother.

As they prepared for their departure to the hospital, the handler and the reporter spotted Commander on the South Lawn. The handler was able to see Commander playing fetch and getting a belly rub.

Commander made his debut at the visit.

“He’s fifteen weeks old,” the president declared, showing one child the photo taken by his cell phone of the dog.

Biden indicated that they might bring the dog to the hospital during the summer.

One of the patients joined the first lady to read when she was done.

He noted that when their daughter was born, the president and the first couple had spent much time at Philadelphia’s children’s hospital.

Then he asked them how many wanted to become doctors as children.

Two hands were raised, but other children stated that they wanted to become a chef or a cop, an astronaut engineer, author, and biomedical engineer.

“We have never had a president visit with the first lady Christmas Eve,” the hospital administrator observed.

The D.C.-based organization was visited by former President Barack Obama on December 18, 2018, shortly after his departure from office.

This is the third time Dr. Biden visited the hospital since January when she became first wife.

After the ceremony, the Bidens rode the presidential motorcade up 17th Street D.C. — the gay main street in Dupont Circle – and stopped for a moment to view the Biden-themed trees right by the Italian restaurant Floriana.

The majority of ornaments featured Jill Biden’s large portraits, but there were some that showed the president wearing his signature aviators. Apples are also used to decorate the tree, probably as an ode to Jill Biden’s work as a teacher in schools.

When asked by reporters whether he has a message for Americans on Christmas Eve, he replied “Keep the Faith.”

Jill Biden, First Lady, is scheduled to visit Children’s National Hospital, Washington, D.C., on Christmas Eve

The pool was flooded with comments from the president upon their return.

‘It’s more like Easter than Christmas with the weather,’ he said.

It is 53 degrees in D.C.

Bidens will spend Christmas at the White House, and they’ll be embracing Delaware’s chill this year.

As the latest COVID case wave, caused by the extremely transmissible micron variant of the Omicron, continues to plague COVID-19 testing centers, the president decided to remain local. This has led to major airlines cancelling flights and causing long queues at the COVID-19 test centres.

The White House took heat from the fact that the country was not adequately prepared for the crushing testing.

United and Delta both cancelled over 100 flights Christmas Eve. They blamed bad weather and microns.

Unexpectedly, the White House decided to celebrate Christmas. This was a surprise for a president who often returns home from Delaware to enjoy the weekends.

Jen Psaki from the White House said that instead, he would spend some time between Christmas Eve and New Year’s Day in Delaware.

President Obama will also forgo his tradition of visiting the U.S. Virgin Islands to celebrate the new year. He has been making this trip almost every year since 2008 with his family.

James, his brother, owns property at Water Island. Biden has often spent the week on St. Croix or there.

He spent 25 weekends in Wilmington or Rehoboth Beach his first year of office. It’s easy for family and friends to visit and it allows the Bidens the opportunity to go on bike rides and outings along the coast.

Biden said that he was uncomfortable with White House trappings, at times describing it as ‘living in a gold cage’.

Kamala Harris (Vice President) and Doug Emhoff (2nd Gentleman), are on holiday in California.
