Diane Kruger claims that she would not have wanted a child if she had conceived it in her 30s. However, she has grown to be’ready and willing to dedicate herself’ to the baby as she gets older.
The German-born actress, 45, who lives in Atlanta, Georgia, with her fiancé Norman Reedus gave birth to daughter, now three, in November 2018 when she was 42.
She spoke candidly with The Sunday Telegraph and said that she is now happy to be childless.

The actress gave birth to her three-year-old daughter in November 2018 and says she’s ‘so glad’ she chose to have a child later on in life
According to the Inglourious Basterds Star, “I am so grateful I didn’t have children at 30” It is something I think I would absolutely have resented for the many things you must give up. But today, I’m happy to be able to enjoy it.
‘I’ve been at every party and visited every country that my heart desired. Also, I know that my son will be able to get the attention he needs. However, I am 30 and I’m not sure I could do it properly.
Diane gained worldwide recognition in the early 90s as a high-fashion model, landing advertisements from Yves Saint Laurent, Chanel, Giorgio Armani, Christian Dior, Burberry and Louis Vuitton.
Soon after her graduation, she began to pursue a career as an actor. She was most famous for playing Helen in War Epic Troy (2004). Then in 2004, National Treasure featured Nicolas Cage alongside Sean Bean.

Over the years her acting career has been steadily growing. In 2015, she met Norman, 52-year-old actor of The Walking Dead, during Sky’s drama film Sky. They were married two years later.
Normal shares son Mingus, 21, from his previous relationship with Helena Christensen and Diane says she sees him as more of a ‘friend’ than a stepson.
She added that she’s known Mingus’ mother, former Victoria’s Secret Angel Helena, for longer than she has her fiancé and says there’s ‘no weirdness’ between the family.
Diane previously admitted that ‘everything changed with motherhood’ as she discussed jumping back into work while also raising her daughter in in December’s Women’s Health magazine.
Diane’s acting career has grown from strength to strength over the years, and in 2015 met The Walking Dead actor Norman, 52, while filming drama movie Sky. The couple were photographed in 2018.
Although she has not revealed the name of her baby girl, actress Joanna Lumley said that being a mother has set the course for her career as it allows her to prioritize spending time with her family.
‘Everything changed with motherhood—it’s such a cliché, but it’s true,’ she said. “My view of work is completely different. It is a joy that I work. I treasure it even more than before. But, at the same, everything can be seen from a new perspective.
‘It’s not: What’s it going to do for my career? It’s more about: Could it fit into my schedule? What can I do to make it possible? It’s worth it?
“It was overwhelming,” she described the feeling of having to decide to return to work several months after giving birth.
“But six months after being a mom full-time, I was ready for me to go back to myself, to leave the house, and get in touch with my family. It was great to be able to spend a few hours each day focusing on my body, and my work.
