Gunther VI, the German Shepherd, inherited the vast fortune of his grandfather Gunther IV, which included the nine-bedroom waterfront house once owned by the singer ‘Material Girl.
According to reports, the dog’s lineage dates back decades to when Gunther III was gifted a multimillion-dollar trust reportedly worth $58 million from late owner German countess Karlotta Liebenstein when she died in 1992.
Since then, a group of handlers have helped maintain a jet-setting lifestyle for a succession of dogs.
On Wednesday, the Tuscan-style Villa with Biscayne Bay views went up in price to $31 Million. This is a significant increase from its $7.5M purchase from popstar George Michael two decades back. A gilded frame portrait of Gunther IV is also featured over the fireplace in the living room.

She took care of three Gunthers over the years and frequently brings her current dog on regular trips to market or to the kennel, where she takes care of stray animals.
