The country is in an extremely important and dangerous position. The press is absent. The press is so corrupt, we don’t have a press’ the former president ranted to those gathered at the event.

They make bad stories about Republicans if there’s one about them. They make it the worst story,’ adding journalists are ‘crooked b*****ds’ and ‘the most dishonest group of people.’

Trump made a seemingly spontaneous speech warning that America was heading towards communism if it doesn’t have the media back.

Trump was a constant threat to media trust and would frequently criticize journalists on Twitter, calling them fake news or the enemy of the people.

Trump claimed that 95% of Americans believed in the media in 2015. However, Axios’s report suggests these statistics may not be correct.

Trump went on to complain about the election being rigged, claiming that he had a slew of ballots sent in by mail.

He has failed in his repeated efforts to contest President Biden’s win.

Trump can be seen criticizing U.S. strategy for exiting Afghanistan earlier in the video, saying that he would rather bring back all American equipment than leave it behind.

‘I said, the moment we get out, I want every nut, every bolt, every screw … we’re taking everything,’ Trump said.

He recounted the story of General Mark Milley who was chairman of Joint Chiefs of Staff. Milley told Milley that it was much cheaper to let the equipment go than to return it.

‘That’s when I realized he was a f*****g idiot!’ Trump laughed with raucous laughter.

Trump claimed that the U.S. had left $85 billion worth of military equipment behind, but an Associated Press fact-check found this figure was exaggerated.

The $85 Billion figure represents what the U.S. spent in Afghanistan to build it since 2001. It includes troop training, payroll and any other infrastructure expenses over the two-decade period.
