There was much laughter when it became clear that the Queen had been having “sleepless night” because Prince William was flying around with his family in a helicopter.

A source close to the monarch has now revealed her secret fear: She still fears a helicopter accident in which three people were killed, including the Captain of the Queen’s Flight.

The source told me that she was unable to leave because of it. “That is why she’s so concerned about William’s family.

According to a source, the Queen will visit Windsor Castle and have ‘words’ with the Duke when he returns home from Norfolk. He’s currently spending Christmas with Catherine, their three children, and the Duke.

In December 1967, the Queen’s Flight Captain, Air Commodore John Blount died in an air crash in Newbury, Berkshire. Blount had been flying in the Westland Whirlwind and was almost certainly the cause of his death. The Flight also lost three other crew members.

Inquests found that the gearbox was suffering from metal fatigue. No royalty was present on the plane, although Prince Philip had just flown it. She was so angry that she refused all rotary-air travel.

She was so afraid of the helicopter that she didn’t even consider getting in one until she couldn’t choose.

Robert Hardman, my friend, revealed that she wanted to see all of the kingdom during her 1977 Silver Jubilee.

She was told by her ministers that she had to fly in a helicopter if she wants to travel to Northern Ireland. However, she did so with heavy hearts.

To this day she still dislikes them especially in winter and won’t board one at night.

Blount was a member of a distinguished RAF clan. But by the time his relation, James, was choosing a career, he opted for the Army, prior to a career in pop music — when he dropped the ‘o’ from the family name.

She is 11 years old and wears a shawl to St Andrew’s School, Pangbourne in Berkshire. You can hear her singing about someone who is ‘warm, tender, as he can, and who takes good care me’.

Andrew Alexander was her leading man and went on to portray Sir John Bullock at Downton Abbey.

“I think it’s a great idea to imagine that I, even though I won’t be a king, was her first prince.

Surprise for Sienna’s sister

Savannah Miller, the sister of Hollywood actor Sienna Miller received the perfect Christmas gift: an Engagement Ring.

Today marks the 43rd birthday of the divorced fashion designer. James Whewell (40-year-old heir) presented a diamond ring and a proposal to her.

She said, “I did not think that Christmas could be any better,”

“Yet, but in typical magic Jim fashion I received the greatest gift I could have ever wished for: The promise of a happy, fulfilled life with this man.

Following the end of Nick Skinner’s 15 year marriage to her, she started seeing Whewell again last summer. He is a Devon-based bushcraft teacher. She has 3 children.

Savannah designs bridal gowns and Whewell is a consultant for weddings. Whewell also runs his own business, operating from his family home, and promoting eco-weddings that allow guests to stay in yurts.

The Duke and Duchess of Wellington are mourning their niece who passed away in December, just one day before her 15th anniversary.

Skye Wellesley, aged 1, was diagnosed with Rett Syndrome. Her sister, Eleanor, 25, says: ‘Our lives simply won’t be the same. All of these memories will be treasured and kept safe forever. We miss you dearly.’

Footballer Wayne Rooney’s wife, Coleen, lost her sister, Rosie, aged 14, to the condition in 2013.

Zara Tindall talked of how excited she was to travel to Australia with her 9-month-old son Lucas.

However, I have heard that the granddaughter of Queen Elizabeth has cancelled her trip to Magic Millions on the Gold Coast next year due to uncertainty around the pandemic.

“Zara, Mike Tindall was the ex-england rugby captain, and we have made the hard decision to put off our trip until January 2023,” she said.
