Both were seen having a delicious meal at Cheval Blanc Hotel, which has rooms starting at $1,300/night. This is a small price to pay for one of the most wealthy men in the world.
Musk, aged 50, and Bassett (27), sat full-view of the swimming pool and other guests.
While waiters bustled by, they sipped champagne and ate French fries. They then walked hand-in-hand along the beach, past sunseekers.
Bassett, Musk’s youngest girlfriend yet, was elegant in a $698 Zadig and Voltaire dress, silver sandals and a matching bag. Musk, however, was more casually dressed for the climate, wearing a dark grey shirt, black jeans, and black leather Chelsea shoes.
According to reports, the couple began dating in February 2012 after Musk’s private aircraft was seen taking them off in L.A.

Bassett immigrated to America from Australia at the age of 19. After starting her work in New York City, Bassett moved to L.A. Musk and her are not known how they met.
