Elon Musk, a billionaire, announced that the Tesla bot would be created in August to help with ‘dangerous, boring’ factory tasks. However, Musk foresees the Teslabot as being companionable.
Musk claimed that Tesla Bot codenamed Optimus Subprime could become an ‘incredible companion like R2D2’ or C3PO for everyday users.
Musk indicated that while the robot can be used to take over certain jobs, it will also be useful for general purposes.
Optimus Subprime, however, could be a’very good companion’, similar to a pet dog.
“It might develop a unique personality over the course of time. The billionaire stated that robots don’t all look the same.
“That personality might evolve to meet the owner or what ever you wish to call it.”

Elon Musk, a billionaire, announced that the Tesla bot would be created in August to deal with ‘dangerous, boring’ factory tasks. However, Musk foresaw the possibility of a humanoid companion.
Musk described the Star Wars robots as a continuation of his description, noting that they had ‘a lot flaws and silly stuff and would argue with one another,’ he stated.
Musk said, “There are some quirky elements in which they make mistakes, and that would just, it would just, it made the them relatable. I don’t understand.” Musk said that Musk was “enterprising”.
“I believe that that would be something that most likely would happen.” [with the Tesla bot].
“But we are primarily focused on making it usable.
Musk claimed that Tesla’s bot would ‘get done,’ however, he is not certain about when the development of the Teslabot will begin and end.

Musk stated that Tesla Bot (codenamed Optimus Subprime) could be an ‘incredible friend like R2D2 and C3PO’ to the average user on the Lex Fridman podcast.
But he said that Tesla would like to build a prototype of a “decent” vehicle by 2022.
Tesla Bot will include Autopilot, the computer that powers the electric vehicles of the company. This will enable the robot to recognize real-world objects.
However, each robot will be equipped with its own sensors and actuators.
Robots are expected to be around five feet eight inches tall with a weight of approximately 125 pounds.
Tesla’s Autopilot cameras would be fitted in the front of the bot’s head and its innerworkings will be powered by the company’s Full Self-Driving computer.
Musk said on the podcast, “I believe the possibilities are endless.”

“It is not Tesla’s main mission to speed up the growth of renewable energy. But, making a humanoid robotic agent capable of interfacing with the environment and providing assistance in many ways is an important task for the world.
Musk stated that the Tesla robot could not be defeated by a killer robot, unlike other machines.
Musk, the Tesla founder, has warned that robots can kill everyone in five years. Musk’s statement was made in 2014.
He has also said artificial intelligence is the ‘biggest risk we face as a civilization.’
