She weaved her magic as one of the top students at witchcraft and wizardry school Hogwarts, sharing Harry Potter’s breathtaking adventures.
Now Emma Watson is set to cast her spell again in this week’s TV show reuniting the cast of the hit movies which enchanted millions.
31-year-old actress took center stage at Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return To Hogwarts.
Other former child stars were there to support her. Perhaps the most remarkable aspect of her absence was JK Rowling (Harry Potter creator) amid ongoing controversy over her views regarding transgender issues.
Miss Watson, aged 31, plays Hermione Granger, in eight-film series. In this picture, she chats aboard the Hogwarts Express train along with Evanna Lynn, 30 who plays Luna Lovegood and Bonnie Wright (30 who portrays Ginny Wells).
One snap captures her in deep conversation with Tom Felton (34), who plays Draco Malfoy. In another, she’s joined by Hagrid actor Robbie Coltrane (71).
Miss Rowling, 56 (whose Potter books were the best-selling in history), isn’t present at the reunion.

Instead she’s shown in a new video, which shows her discussing the search to find the right child for Harry Potter. She also discusses her relief upon finding Daniel Radcliffe.
Miss Rowling faced accusations of transphobia after publishing an essay last year in which she argued that gender identity should not be given priority over a person’s biological sex.
Miss Watson and Radcliffe were among the stars who later supported transgender people.
Helena Bonham Carter (55), who played Bellatrix, is also in the reunion.
Return to Hogwarts will be screened on New Year’s Day on Sky and its sister streaming service Now to mark 20 years since the first film based on Miss Rowling’s first book, Harry Potter And The Philosopher’s Stone, was released in cinemas.
