Eric Clapton claimed anyone who took the Covid vaccination is a victim ‘mass formation hypnosis’.
The singer, 76, previously claimed he suffered alarming side effects after his AstraZeneca jabs and released ant-lockdown single Stand And Deliver with Van Morrison in 2020.
In a new interview for The Real Music Observer YouTube channel, Eric has claimed that that subliminal messaging hidden in advertising led people to get the jab.

He said: ‘Whatever the memo was, it hadn’t reached me. Then I began to realize that there had been a memo. It was actually a man named Mattias Demet. [professor of clinical psychology at Ghent University in Belgium]It is a topic that was frequently discussed.
‘And it’s great. Hypnosis on the theory of mass formation. It was there, I saw it immediately. After I had started to search for it, it was all around me.
“Then I remembered watching little YouTube videos that looked like subliminal ads. This was a long-running trend: the idea that “you’ll own nothing but be content”
“What is that?” I wondered. As I worked my way through the puzzle, each piece became a rough jigsaw. I was even more determined.

Clapton answered the question, “My career was almost over.” Nearly 18 months had passed since the time I was forcibly retired at the moment I spoke.
“I joined hands with Van and got the tip Van stood up to the measures. So I called him.
“He stated, “I’m only objecting really. It seems that we are not allowed to do this. It’s not allowed to be done by anyone else.”
“He sent Stand and Deliver,” he said. He had also recorded it. It was while we were talking with another musician about the matter, and getting excited about sharing the news that I realized that no one wanted to hear it.
It was a strange experience. I thought it would be fun and appropriate. Because I am cut from the same cloth as you, I want to understand why people tell me that I cannot do it.
“My friends and family got scared and they felt scared for me.”
Clapton also stated that he stopped following the news because of the “one-way traffic” about obeying orders, which motivated him musically.
He voiced his opinion after the Wonderful Tonight star – father of daughters Ruth (37), Julie (20), Ella (19) and Sophie (16-16 years old).
“Over the last one year, there have been many disappearings – lots of dust all around and people moving quite fast.
It has torn apart the friendships I had. It’s now a smaller group of people I love and need.
“In my family that was quite pivotal… “I have teenage girls and an older one who is in her thirties, so they all kind of gave me some leeway since I wasn’t able to persuade any.
Clapton, who has been married to Melia McCEnery for a while, added that he would reach out to other musicians sometimes but he doesn’t always hear back.
“My phone isn’t ringing very often. I get fewer texts and emails.
Clapton’s anti-lockdown and vaccination statements, as well as songs have been out for several months.
Clapton and Van, a fellow anti-vaxxer and classic rocker, joined Clapton on Stand and Deliver in December 2020.

Clapton described a previous ‘disastrous experience’ with AstraZeneca, which he put down to ‘propaganda for forcing him on.
The singer continued, revealing that he is suffering from “peripheral neuropathy” and should not have come near the needle.
He wrote to his music producer: ‘I took AZ’s first jab. [AstraZeneca]And they experienced severe reactions that lasted 10 days.
According to the 76-year old, he recovered eventually but had further difficulties six weeks after receiving his second shot.
He stated that his hands and feet became numb and burning after two weeks. It was so bad, I was scared I’d never be able again to play.
“I shouldn’t have been near the needle.” However, the vaccination was deemed safe and effective for everybody.

Clapton stated about his decision to speak out that his career almost ended anyway. It had almost been 18 years since my forcible retirement when I came out.
