Ewan McGregor shared how he used the celebrity hypnotist Adele’s help to quit smoking and get in the best shape possible for Obi-Wan Kenobi’s next role in Star Wars.
Max Kirsten, a Hypnotist to the Stars launched his Stop-Smoking App – which promises to improve your sexual life – in 2009. It was also used by Adele and Tom Hardy to end their unhealthy habits.
McGregor, 50, has revealed that he, too, sought the help of the award-winning British addiction therapist and bought Kirsten’s Quit Smoking Now App for $4.99.

McGregor plans to reprise his legendary Jedi Master Obi Wan Kenobi role, which he first played during the Star Wars prequel trilogy of 1999-2005 – in 2022.
Disney+ teased the series with a short trailer in November. They have yet to announce when the six-hour episodes will be streamable.
The Emmy Award winner admitted that he’s gotten back in to smoking, and blamed the roles in which he had smoke.
The Irish Times reported that he told his part as a smoker, “Okay, great. I can still smoke while I play Halston.”

His parents were both diagnosed with cancer, and his mother was also a victim of a tobacco-related illness. Since then, he has made it his mission to help as many people as possible.
After five failed years, Adele was finally able to kick her 20-year old habit.
She announced that she had finally knocked the habit on the head in a Rolling Stone interview before Christmas that same year but didn’t explain how.
‘I absolutely loved it, but it’s not that f****** cool when I’m dying from a smoking-related illness and my kid is, like, devastated,’ she said.
The singer’s trip to Kirsten’s clinic came just months before the release of her smash hit single Hello.
