An arsonist set fire to the ex-Rangers’ star Kenny Miller’s SUV while it was being parked at a Scotland property.
It is thought that the Audi Q7 was doused with a flammable fluid near Hamilton, where it was believed that former Scotland Captain was staying.
The Daily Record reports that the footballer, 42, was staying temporarily with Laura (33), at Laura’s mother-in law’s house when the attempted arson attack occurred on January 8.
Reports say that arsonists set fire to the SUV of Kenny Miller, former Scotland captain, while Miller was at Hamilton’s home with his family (including wife Laura) earlier in this month.
The newspaper reports that an accelerant was poured on the windscreen of the £55,000 vehicle before the vandals were interrupted and they fled before they could set it alight.
Police are investigating the incident.
According to a source, Kenny said that he doesn’t know why or how it happened. The family is completely in denial.
“It’s unbelievable that this should happen.”
According to the newspaper report, the couple are currently staying at their relatives before they move into a new house.
