Jeffrey Dahmer’s eleventh victim of murder has claimed that Netflix’s emotional courtroom collapse has’retraumatized’ his family.
Errol Lindsey’s cousin took to Twitter to criticize the decision of the new series to feature the disturbing moment. Errol was just 19 at the time.
Lindsey was lured into Dahmer’s apartment by a rumor to take nude pictures, but the serial killer murdered her.
Chicago-based Eric Thulhu (33), took aim at a scene that shows his cousin Rita Isbell — the victim’s younger sister– exploding with anger in court. This is from Netflix’s Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story.
‘I’m not telling anyone what to watch, I know true crime media is huge [right now], but if you’re actually curious about the victims, my family (the Isbell’s) are pissed about this show,’ Thulhu wrote on Twitter.
‘It’s retraumatizing over and over again, and for what? How many movies/shows/documentaries do we need?’
The new Netflix series Monster The Jeffrey Dahmer Story features Rita Isbell’s “emotional breakdown” and her family doesn’t like it.
Eric Thulhu (33), Chicago, a cousin to Errol Lindsey who was Dahmer’s 11th victim, said that the series had’retraumatized’ the family.
Netflix’s latest release was released on Wednesday. This streaming giant, well-known for producing true crime documentaries, is also publishing Conversations With A Killer: The Jeffrey Dahmer tapes on October 7.
Dahmer approached Lindsey in a Wisconsin mall, offering cash to the murderer in return for Dahmer taking nude photos.
Dahmer drugged Lindsey, and then began drilling a hole into his skull. After that, he poured acid in the opening.
Lindsey was able to wake up after the horrific torture and Dahmer decided to strangle him.
A few years earlier, this gruesome story had been rediscovered when My Friend Dahmer – starring Ross Lynch, a former Disney actor – was released.
Another option is to Google a quick search and you will see dozens of documentaries released after the case was sensational.
Thulhu went on to say Netflix didn’t even ‘notify’ the family of the creation of the new hit series, because it’s ‘all public record, so they don’t have to notify (or pay!) anyone.’

Thulhu (pictured), took to Twitter and denounced Netflix’s new series Monster. The Jeffrey Dahmer story, saying that his family was ‘pissed.
Thulhu claimed that Netflix never contacted the family before the launch of the show, and did not offer to pay the family for their services.
The actress who played Isbell (center) said she ‘didn’t know the victim’s stories [before the show]He could not imagine what his actions would have on the community and the families he loved.
‘So when they say they’re doing this “with respect to the victims” or “honoring the dignity of the families,” no one contacts them. My cousins wake up every few months at this point with a bunch of calls and messages and they know there’s another Dahmer show. It’s cruel,’ he wrote on Twitter.
“Like recreating a cousin.” [Rita Isbell]Witnessing the murderer of her brother in his tortured and beaten state in court is enough to cause an emotional crisis. WIIIIIILD.’
DailyMail.com reached Thulhu seeking comment, but could not reach Isbell.
Dashawn ‘Dash’ Barnes, who plays Isbell in the series, even promoted the show on Wednesday, writing: ‘I didn’t know the victim’s stories [before the show]I could only see the consequences of his actions on his family and the community. These parts are important and should be told. Everyone who sees it will feel compassion for both the victims and those affected.
The side-by-side comparison was posted on Twitter to show viewers how close the replica recreated the original.
Rita started her statement by declaring she was Lindsey’s oldest sister. She also referred to Dahmer who sat lower in the courtroom as “Satan.”
‘I’m mad. This is how to act out when you’re not in control. She began by referring to her raising her voice rather than murdering and eating others. “I do not want to have to watch my mother suffer this ever again. Never, Jeffrey.’
She began to scream at the top of her lungs in rage as she flung her body around while at the stand in 1992: ‘Jeffrey, motherf**er, I hate you. It is completely out of control.
Isbell approached Dahmer with his lawyer and shouted at him, “kill”!
‘I could kill you, I could f**king kill you,’ she screamed as guards grabbed her.
Dahmer was often targeted by members of LGBT+ or racial minorities.

The entire exchange was passive for Dahmer.
Every word in Isbell’s original testimony was followed by the Netflix reenactment.
Since 1992’s courtroom collapse, Isbell has been largely unnoticed.
Netflix was also criticised for labeling the series LGBT since its release. Dahmer killed many people from LGBT+ communities and minorities, while he also had sex with many of them.
Many people called out streaming platforms, who removed the tag and said they were shocked at their choice.
Evan Peters plays Dahmer in the new Netflix series
Dahmer was sentenced in 1992 to 16 life imprisonment for the 16 murders that he had been accused of.
Christopher Scarver (another inmate at Columbia Correctional Institution, Portage, Wisconsin) beat him to death using a bar made of metal in November 1994.
The Netflix series retells the story of Dahmer from the perspective of his victims and explores major mistakes Wisconsin police made in handling the probe of the notorious mass murderer, who made national headlines for acts of cannibalism and necrophilia involving his victims.
Evan Peters is the actor who plays Jeffrey Dahmer.
Other actors in the show include Penelope Ann Miller (Penelope Ann Miller), and Shaun J. Brown, Colin Ford and Richard Jenkins are accompanied by Paris Barclay and Carl Franklin and Janet Mock.
