The boutique hotel is hidden in a charming, but modest 1940s-era garage located on Barbados’ west Coast.
As soon as you pass through the narrow reception of the Lone Star, the building opens out into a verandah bar and restaurant simply furnished with white sofas and linens against rich mahogany floorboards – all selected to frame the star of the show…. the white sands and azure sea of Barbados.
Lone Star Boutique Hotel’s breezy, tropically chic interior is the ideal setting for enjoying Barbados’s white sand beaches and turquoise sea.
You will find a sanctuary of luxury with six beautifully appointed rooms. This place offers a relaxed, luxurious atmosphere, with the benefit of low crowds. Some of the most luxurious resorts are located on the island.
The bRelaxing on holiday is made easier by having utlers to take care of your every need.

The staff will be dressed in overalls, a fun nod to its past as a garage.
Cadillac, Buick and Studebaker are the best rooms with gorgeous sea views, but the jewel in the crown is the vast Lincoln suite in a coral-stone beach house right beside the main hotel.
You can walk to the beach from the restaurant, bar or hotel. A butler can help you find motivation to get out of your sunbed.
The penthouse is set on two floors. It has two double bedrooms, each with an en-suite bathroom. First floor features a spacious indoor lounge with comfortable couches and a television viewing area.
But the real wow factor is the sweeping open lounge and dining room that adjoins with a stunning garden and sea view, the perfect setting to enjoy a glass of Lone Star’s signature – and very powerful- rum punch as you enjoy the sunset.
This is the master bedroom located on the top floor. The indoor lounge area is shown in the bottom picture. It opens onto an open-air dining room and seats areas with stunning views over the ocean.
There is much to explore on the island – hiring a driver for the day to take in the sights is highly recommended, along with wreck-diving, swimming with turtles, Oistin’s fish fry, catamaran cruises and more – the hotel’s butlers and concierge can point you in the right direction. Lone Star can be your home away from it all if you want to relax.
The snorkels are available for use to find tropical fish and other marine life. You could also spend many hours just floating around in the ocean.
You can see the beachline as a hub of activity, with little ghost crabs digging holes in the sand and sandpiper birds making their way through it. You can also enjoy watersports by strolling along the shoreline.

This restaurant serves European and Caribbean cuisines and sits open to the bay.
The plump and delicious coconut shrimp with mango dip sauce are a favorite, as is the catch of day which is usually a red snapper and Barracuda that’s grilled to perfection. For those who love meat, there are plenty of hearty options, including short ribs, aroma duck, and shepherd’s pie.
