After being arrested for beating and throwing his girlfriend around in jealousy, Zac Stacy was released on $10,000 bail. He was forced to surrender his passport at his first court appearance Friday.
Surprising footage from Stacy’s home shows him repeatedly hitting Kristin Evans, 30 and throwing her in front of the television and his son’s bouncer seat. She begged him to stop this Saturday.
On Thursday night, Stacy, who was on an inbound flight to Orlando from Nashville, was stopped by Orlando police. Evans, 32, asked for assistance in finding her ex-husband, whom she believed was hiding behind his friends.
On Thursday, the former NFL player appeared before the Ninth Circuit Court of Orange County.
Stacy’s lawyer claimed that his client did not have any prior arrests, convictions, or records. He called it an “isolated incident” despite the fact that Evans had provided multiple reports of Stacy’s domestic violence.
Stacy was also managing a gym and the lawyer requested standard release conditions.
Stacy was released on bond at $10,150 each for both of the charges. Stacy claims that his passport is still in Tennessee and will keep him in jail.
He is now living in an Airbnb in Tennessee. A court placed conditions that the former running back must remain in his current residence until he is released and notify the state of any moves.

Stacy’s bail was set at $10,150 to cover the charges against him.
Evans made a public statement on Friday morning, in which she pleaded with Roger Goodell, the NFL commissioner to address mental health issues and brain injury in players current and past.
She stated, “Thanks for being there for my family and I during these difficult times.” Right now, safety is my number one concern. Following a terrible experience, Zac is in police custody. In the moment, I’ve filed a temporary restraining and will be filing a civil lawsuit. Roger Goodell, the NFL commissioner, and I are asking for an honest discussion about the fact that pro-football players have suffered from PTSD. I believe it’s especially linked to brain injury and repeated concussions. It causes symptoms such as aggression, anger outbursts, increased irritability and a change in character.
Evans claimed that Stacy had been ‘voluntarily hospitalized with mental illness’ in March 2021. He is currently taking medication to treat his symptoms.
Evans spoke to DailyMail.com on Thursday. He said that his football career wasn’t responsible for his mental disorders, but that it may have contributed.
According to an affidavit, the former fifth-round pick is facing two felonies of criminal mischief and aggravated battery. A conviction could land him up to twenty years behind bars.

The arrest affidavit states that ‘He kept yelling at her as well as striking her while she was getting up from the ground. He then picked her back up and placed her in the baby’s bouncy chair.
Evans claimed that Stacy had been abusing Evans since her pregnancy with her son. She filed a restraining orders on Monday, claiming that Stacy was escalating the abuse and that “he would kill me.”
After an argument about rent money, photos from the alleged August incident reveal cuts and bruises across her body.
She wrote that he had physically attacked me multiple times in order to get the rent money he paid back.
“He punched me in the legs and grabbed me by the arms. He then threw me through my window which was broken. Evans added, “I had broken glass at my feet so I was able to remove it myself.”
In September, she claimed that she had been slapped on the forehead.
Evans says in the document:[Stacy]Since May, when I was pregnant, he has increased violence. I was also attacked by him just weeks before my son was born. He won’t stop. He will kill my family and feel justified by his actions.
Zac, an ex-Jets running back, was taken into custody and sent to prison after footage revealed him torturing his ex-girlfriend and throwing her about the apartment in jealous anger. Amazing home surveillance footage showed Stacy repeatedly punching Kristin and throwing Kristin Evans into their TVs and the son’s bouncer seat. She begged for him not to do this again.

At around 2pm Saturday, the ex-football player went to his son’s home. After arriving at his son’s house, the ex-football player became jealous and started to punch her in the head. He then dragged her off the couch and threw her into the television, where she fell.

Evans made a public statement on Friday morning, in which she urged Roger Goodell (pictured), to seriously address the issue of brain injury and mental health in former and current NFL players.
Evans posted an Instagram message prior to Evans’ arrest: “I just want you to thank everyone who supported me through this ordeal. His whereabouts are still unknown. He is being hidden by his friends. If you have any information, please contact the authorities.
After being drafted by the Rams in 2013, Stacy spent 2 years with them. In 2019, Stacy played with the Memphis Express, in what is now the Alliance of American Football. This was also when Stacy first met Evans. Evans was the team’s wellness coordinator.
This incident has caused both the National Down Syndrome Society and a well-known college bowl team to end their ties.

Evans posted on social media Wednesday, claiming that Stacy was still at large in Nashville. Officers in Oakland took just four days to issue an arrest warrant.
‘The Oakland PD Officers that visited my house did not seem to believe this was a severe enough incident for them to immediately arrest me or file an instant warrant. She wrote that it took her four days to call people and for an Orange County officer to speak on my behalf.
Oakland police released a statement on Thursday stating that officers arrived on the spot at 2:20pm, but Stacy was already gone. He was found by officers who searched him, and the case was referred to an investigators unit to investigate.
He fled from the state, according to local and county police.
Evans asked for the help of both vice-presidents and president on Thursday
Zac (pictured at right) was accused of domestic violence towards his ex-girlfriend, Kristin Evans.
Evans has filed an order for a restraining injunction stating that Evans was the one who first met Evans while working in Memphis. The couple didn’t fall in love until much later in the year.
Evans stated that Evans was relaxed, funny and had lots in common with Evans at first.
After some problems in December 2019, Evans’ miscarriage, things started to slide.
“We made the decision to spend some time apart and then we got back together.”
Evans gave birth to Stacy in 2021. He was then managing a fitness center in Florida when he became pregnant. According to her, things have been a “roller coaster” since then.
It all began on Saturday afternoon when Evans, a former footballer visited Evans’ home at 2 pm. They had lived apart from August.
He began to speak with her after a September 2020 incident, when he and Stacy’s financial adviser met out of concern about his mental state.
Evans stated in the restraining orders that he became jealous and hit his ex. He punched Evans several times and then dragged Evans from the couch before throwing Evans into the TV.
“He punched me multiple times in my head!” Evans stated in her application for restraining orders that she begged Evans to stop as the baby was sitting on the couch right next to where he had punched me.
“He picked me up, and then he threw my television into it.” As the TV fell, he stopped me from getting up and turned around to check that I was still upright.
“As I lay on the ground, he started to shout at me and tell me that I was destructive. He picked me off the floor, grabbed my feet, and then slammed me in our son’s bouncer seat.
Evans, who is the father of a 12-year old daughter in a past relationship wrote that he feared for his life and those of my children.
Stacy, the victim claims that Stacy left after she attacked her and said “I love you” to the child before leaving.

Evans took Evans to the hospital, where she received treatment for possible injuries and bleeding. Evans said she could not walk and was unable to move without a limp.
Stacy was alleged to have slapped the victim while Stacy held her baby in October. He claimed that she had found the apartment number of the house he lived at after their breakup.
He assaulted her multiple times on August 15, because he wanted to return the money he gave Evans for rent.
Evans stated that Stacy punched Evans in the legs, then grabbed and picked Evans up. Then, she tried to throw her out of her window.
The restraining orders states that Stacy was violent in the weeks preceding their son’s birth.
She answered when she was asked why she hadn’t filed a report. “Because I am an abuse victim, and I wanted him to be happy. He needed to be able to do better. I was terrified and I was pregnant.
Social media has been a place where she vents her disgust at Florida’s police force.
She wrote that the Florida justice system had been failing her. “I’ve filed previous police reports, but the State Attorney hasn’t taken them up.” Every day, other women are victims of this. Attention to Florida’s State Attorney.

Stacy was a 2015 Jets player who had previously been with the St. Louis Rams for two seasons. Stacy broke his ankle in that first season and was limited to eight games. He never played again in the NFL.

Evans served as a TransPerfect Music City Bowl Youth Football Ambassador in Nashville.
It pits the Big Ten team against the SEC team. The team quickly declared that it would be cutting all ties with Stacy on Thursday morning.
TransPerfect Music City Bowl stated in a statement that they had terminated their relationship with Zac Stany based on Zac’s domestic violence video.
Stacy had most recently given an interview in 2020, claiming his faith played a constant role in his life.
“I’ve never been one to look at stats and accolades. My focus has been on putting my team first and being professional. Stacy stated that God gets all the credit for any award or recognition I receive.
Stacy also promoted the work of National Down Syndrome Society ambassador. On Thursday, the organization issued a statement stating that they will not be working with Stacy again.
“The National Down Syndrome Society is shocked by Zac Stacy’s video attacking his mother,’ read the statement. The NDSS last partnered up with him in 2019, to run a football clinic specifically for Down syndrome individuals and their families. Zac has ended our relationship with us and we are not continuing it. We are deeply disturbed by this act of violence. We offer our support to the victims and their families.
