John, however, admitted that he had never been to a gym.
He told co-presenter Vernon Kay: ‘I’ve never been to the gym in my life but I’ve got 98 world records now and I’ve travelled the world with all these immense heavy weights on my head.
“I’m the only one in the entire world that has ever done it the same way as me. I’m 75. It doesn’t bother me, so I’ll keep going.
John’s tweets were a hit with Twitter users. One wrote, “John balanced a chimney over his head in order to raise money for the partially blind and visually impaired”
Another commented, “What an actor John is at This Morning. He was balancing the Mini on his head, which I can actually recall. Legend.’

Another added, “How can we help John?” He is my best friend and I want to bring him home.
John stated that he had previously mentioned: “I have one eye, I am diabetic, and I have angina. I also have asthma and I have 98 world records.”
“This (the chimney) will hopefully be my 99th World Record and then, coming up to the 75th of my life, I am having a huge five-foot by five foot crown (1.52mx1.52m) made. I will balance it on my head. It will become my 100th World Record.
John found his talents as an adolescent while building structures.
I was 17, 18 years old. He said that he used to lift bricks from his head onto a board.

John traveled the globe balancing beer pints, water kegs and cement mixers. He also owned a refrigerator, quadbike, and a Mini, which he wore on his head.
“The Mini is all around the world. “I’ve done Mini in Hollywood. I’ve also done it China. I’ve even done it Paris,” he stated, holding a Guinness World Record certificate to balance the Mini during an international television program.
“It was 357lbs (162kg) and I balanced it… for twenty seconds on top of my head… it could have been fatal if it had not.”
