Joey Essex has reportedly been left ‘horrified and very shaken’ after his bachelor pad in Essex was ‘ransacked’ by thieves on Saturday.
According to The Sun, the window was open upstairs when James ‘Diags ‘Bennewith (31), returned from TOWIE in the early morning hours with the friend.
Reality TV star discovered his Essex property with four beds that had been pillaged and feels unsafe in it.

Joey contacted police, who confirmed to the publication that they are investigating the break-in.
According to a source, Joey realized what was happening as soon as James Bennewith (a close friend) returned home.
“Thieves” had completely pillaged the area. Joey was shocked and extremely shaken. It’s made him feel unsafe in the home. He was there when it occurred, which is something to be thankful for.
MailOnline reached Joey through his representative, but he declined to respond.

Joey showed viewers his lavish home, which he purchased at 24 years old, and transformed into a bachelor house with a “posh” room, beach house, and hot tub.
Reality star, who appeared on This Morning before appearing on MTV Cribs’ revived series.

Joey has an elaborate ‘posh room’ in his home that he used whenever he had family over or when he was ‘having a girl’.
This room has large walls of cream and large paneling surrounding the flat-screen television. Cream is used for the carpet and large round-cornered sofa on top.
Joey has made sure that the TV is surrounded by a comfy brown leather chair. A large number of windows allow natural light to flood the room.
Joey gave viewers an opportunity to see his bedroom, which includes a double bed and several pillows with purple bedding.

Reality star, who is a reality TV host, has gone all out with his headboard. It features a spiked design with studded embellishments.
Joey uses a TV with off-white walls, a matching rug and a standing fan in his summer room to ensure he is entertained when he gets home.
Joey also invited viewers to visit his backyard which has artificial grass, and it is surrounded large conifer trees and shrubs.
He did everything to make his beach home area special, including a huge pool that he could relax with friends.
His response was: “This all came to my head. It was obvious to me that I had a plan for this house when I bought it. The posh space was what I had in mind. The pool was there, I knew.
