Bill Lyons (77), Jessay Martin (68), Robert Reeves (78), and Mick Peterson (65) from Cathedral City in California have lit up the Internet with their amazing videos.

They aren’t in a committed relationship but have become viral for sharing clips with each other, talking about their day, their struggles and giving advice. 

The men have been a source of happiness for many thanks to their contagious laughter, positive demeanor and adorable personalities. They have 3.2 million followers on all social media platforms and have 320,000,000 views.

They joked that they invented homosexuality. The guys started out as neighbours and then became best friends. Now, the four men are roommates.

After being featured in Grindr’s promotional video, they first gained attention online. But their fame really took off after they joined TikTok at the end of last.

The four guyssat down for an appearance on the Today show on Tuesday, November 16, where they chatted about their road to stardom and their favorite parts of their new-found internet fame

They spoke with the Today Show’s Tuesday November 16th host about their path to stardom, their favorites parts and how they are enjoying their newly-found fame online.

Many celebrities have seen their videos, such as Lance Bass, Bebe Redxha and Rihanna. 

The men appeared on Tuesday morning’s talk show, November 16, to discuss their path to stardom and the best parts about their internet fame. 

Bill explained, “We began our first video in 2018, but it wasn’t until December that we went on TikTok. It was then that we hit the ceiling.”

Mick added: ‘One of our housemates, John, introduced us to Ryan [Yezak]”That’s it! We have a producer named ‘John’.

Jessay acknowledged that his life had changed significantly since the viral video was released. He said the most rewarding part about the experience is that he has been a role model to those who don’t know their sexuality yet. 

I sang at the church, and suddenly they came up to me. They were like “We saw your!” He said. He said, “It allowed me be me more and to not care about what others think.” 

“There are still people that don’t really know their identity. These people are scared about all of it, which is understandable. It’s a real eye-opener.

He explained in a past interview that he had not been able to speak for some time. He stated that he has not had a voice for a long time. It has allowed me to be myself and have no concern about others’ opinions.

It has been, and it still is for me, quite the adventure. I don’t know where it’s going, but right now I’m on cloud nine and I’m thankful to be a part of it.’ 

Bill answered a question about what the Today Show has been like during this crazy ride, and he replied that it’s the positive feedback from viewers.

“The best thing that we do is to read [comments]Like, “We woken up this morning. Your guys have made my day. It’s such a nice thing to do,’ he said to the talk-show hosts.

Robert commented, “So many of these comments are: We no longer fear getting old.” It’s so huge, I believe. 

Bill has also spoken out before about the different circumstances he faced growing up and how it was important for people to be able to inform others of how they have changed.

Jessay said in a previous interview: 'I have not always had a voice. This has given me an opportunity to really use my voice and to just not worry about what people are thinking of me'

Bill added, 'At 77 years old, I never had any idea that this would happen to me. It’s totally surreal. I feel like a dinosaur, but the way that people are reacting to me and to the others, I can’t believe it'

Jessay stated in an interview that he has not had a voice since childhood. I have had the opportunity to use my voice, and not be concerned about what other people think of me.

‘I think the most important thing that we’re educating people on is that 60 years ago, coming out was a real struggle,’ he said.

“At 77, I had no idea this would ever happen to me. It’s totally surreal. I feel like a dinosaur, but the way that people are reacting to me and to the others, I can’t believe it.’

When the Today Show featured them, they were all asked who was the greatest risk in the group. Mick answered the question. It was Bill and Jessay who were tied when it came time to determine the most conservative. 

Their families are what do they think about the whole situation? Mick said that they are’very supportive.
