Police in east London arrest four women aged between 21 and 48, as well as a girl of 17 years, for street murder.

  • Yesterday, police were summoned to Louise Gardens in Rainham at 7:53pm 
  • A man aged 37 was unresponsive and paramedics assisted officers.

On suspicion of murder, four women and one teenage girl were arrested.

After reports of disturbances in the street, involving several persons, police responded to a call at 7:53 am yesterday from Louise Gardens, Rainham.

Officers attended with paramedics, and a 37-year-old man was found unresponsive. He was declared dead on the spot despite the best efforts by paramedics.

A total of four young women aged between 21 and 48, and one girl of 17 years were arrested and taken into police custody on suspicion that they are involved in murder. 

The police stated that they are continuing to investigate the identity of this man and inform his next of kin.

Yesterday, police were dispatched to Louise Gardens in Rainham after receiving reports that there had been a disturbance on the streets involving several people.

Also, a woman with a broken wrist was discovered and she was taken to the hospital. Her condition was not life-threatening.

The crime scene has been established and the Met’s Specialist Crime Command homicide detectives are currently investigating the details.
