The Los Angeles estate that legendary singer Frank Sinatra once called home was transformed into a fashion playground complete with cherry red décor and synchronized swimmers for Hermès’ star-studded ‘Grand Soir’ dinner.
Judd Apatow (Leslie Mann), Kathryn Hahn and Victoria Pedretti were some of the well-known faces that visited Chatsworth, a San Fernando Valley suburb to celebrate the new luxury brand’s spring/summer 2020 collection.
The dress code for Wednesday’s event was ‘formal red and black attire’ — a nod to the 13-acre estate’s bold makeover imagined by artistic director Stefan Beckman.

The sprawling home is known for its floor-to-ceiling windows and minimalist white walls, but everyone was seeing red thanks to Hermès.
There was a red botanical mural created by Alan Carroll Studio while the walls, carpets, couches, cushions, books, phones, and bed were all red with touches of black and white dispersed throughout the rooms.
The décor also featured commissioned paintings depicting looks from the new collection. The artworks were created by Greta Waler and Romina Basu, both female artists. according to Women’s Wear Daily.
A surprise runway performance-art show was performed for guests by Miranda July (filmmaker, artist and writer).
So fun: Guests were treated to a performance by the synchronized swimming troupe the Aqualillies
Fashion first: The entertainers modeled Hermès swimwear and fine jewelry
Enjoy the fun times: The dancer performed “Good Vibrations” by The Beach Boys to great applause.

The looks were all red, black, and white, and while some of the designs were seen on the runway in October, others were done in new colorways or never seen before, Vogue reported.
A dinner for eight was served in the gardens. Right before the DJ left the stage was taken, the Aqualillies performed synchronized swimming.
The entertainers modeled Hermès swimwear and fine jewelry while performing to The Beach Boys’ hit ‘Good Vibrations.’

The dinner party comes less than a year after the home went on sale for a whopping $21.5 million last spring.

Sinatra was the first person to rent the property to her when she came to New York. Sinatra stayed there for over a decade between 1950 and 1960. During his time at the estate, Ol’ Blue Eyes hosted legendary parties attended by the crème de la crème of Hollywood.
Audrey Hepburn, Marilyn Monroe, and Sinatra’s Rat Pack buddies Sammy Davis Jr. and Dean Martin are said to have been among the guests at the soirees.

Monroe was able to sublet Sinatra’s property’s guesthouse, and Sinatra’s home’s swimming-pool is believed to have been the location of one star’s last photoshoots.
It is thought that the guesthouse was where Kennedy met her during an alleged affair.
JFK is a famous American politician, but his playboy antics have made him a popular figure with dozens of notable people from American history, including Monroe.
Although there is no evidence that the couple ever had a relationship, conspiracy theories and rumors abound.
More recently, the estate has been featured in the hit shows Mad Men and Big Little Lies, as well as music videos for top artists, including Mariah Carey, Usher, and Rihanna.
