Roger Moore’s James Bond role has been labelled a creepy old bloke’ by Freddie Flintoff.
Former cricket player and Top Gear host, 43, has rewatched old 007 movies, but said that some men now are of the type ‘you would warn your daughter about.
Roger Moore, who portrayed the role of James Bond in seven films from 1973 to 1985 was the third actor that portrayed the British spy agent.

Freddie told The Mirror: ‘People I thought were heroes of the silver screen when I was growing up… I’m not so sure now.
“It struck me while I was looking at the films from the 1970s, that this guy was creepy and should be warned about to your daughters.
‘I watched one – Roger Moore in Octopussy. A girl in her 20s is sitting on the bed next to him. His hairy back must make him 50 and he is trying to get on top of her. He gives a wink to his camera as if everyone is in it, and everything’s fine.

“I was shocked at how outdated it was, and the way I responded to it. It is impossible to justify that. That wasn’t the case.
This follows earlier in the month, Freddie. The revelation that his cricket career ended coincided with an all night bender with Kasabian, Oasis.
Star Corey is a father to Holly (17), Rocky (15), and Preston (13). He also claims that he is happier now that he is sober.
In 2009, Freddie went London, where I was able to get a diagnosis on a knee injury. Then I stopped at The Landmark for a peaceful drink.

However, Oasis was also there, and Serge Pizzorno, Kasabian’s Tom Meighan, joined the party.
According to Freddie, The Sun reported that Freddie said: “The night was definitely wild. It felt like you were in early Seventies when the Rolling Stones played.”
“Everyone was getting hammered. Staff tried to cool it down. Guests were complaining. Part of me wanted to celebrate a fantastic Test match but part also wanted to get off my feet and relax.
After a night of boozing at the bar, Freddie fell asleep at 6am and walked to his 8am knee appointment.
Raucous! This comes just a few days after Freddie disclosed that his cricket career ended with an all-night affair with Oasis and Kasabian (pictured September 2005).
According to the doctor, the surgeon advised the cricketer that an immediate operation was required and warned him not to continue playing the Ashes.
Freddie recalled, “I was hammered. My career was ending.”
In the end, the sportsman chose to complete the series. He retired in Test cricket the following year as well and other forms of cricket in 2010.
Freddie admits now that he feels his career was cut short by playing in the Ashes’ final year. This is because of how it affected him.
He claimed that his alcohol addiction has helped him feel happier and more fulfilled. If I continued to booze, it was easy for me to get involved in drinking. And not just one session. The cycle would last for many weeks.
After a famous incident during which Freddie flipped a pedalo in the middle of a long night on the town, Freddie lost his position as England’s vicecaptain.
Ashes To Ashes is his autobiography from 2009. The cricketer discusses some of his controversial moments. These include arriving at practice with a stale booze smell and dealing with the stress of 2006.
It was evident that I was in difficulty and my mental state was bad. He said that they were able to see how hard it was for me to lead England and the effects on my mental health.
