Cedeno was removed from his wooden coffin by his group of friends for the ride

They claimed to have received permission for the send-off from Cedeno's family

Cedeno was taken from his coffin and carried by his friends. Cedeno’s family gave them permission to take Cedeno home.

The group removes Cedeno from the wooden coffin and transports his body to a motorcycle.

To ensure that Cedeno’s body does not fall during the ride, he was positioned next to the bike’s rider. Another friend sat beside Cedeno.

A large number of people are also seen watching the strange scene as the men move Cedeno’s bodies.

After the motorbike is gone, some friends helped to set it up and can be seen cheering on and waving their arms in the air.

La Repubica reports also that Cedeno was buried by his friends.

Cedeno’s parents gave permission for them to send off the group, but authorities dismissed the claim as an ‘aberrant’.

As Cedeno was positioned on the motorcycle, friends could be seen cheering as they lifted their arms in triumphant celebration.

Authorities have not arrested any of the people involved in Cedeno’s removal from his coffin.

A private funeral is not considered an official function so no investigation has been initiated.

Some parts of the globe consider digging up relatives dead a tradition. Those who are removed from their graves are sometimes washed, and then dressed in new clothes.
