Oak Brook Police Chief James Kruger explained that officers were looking for leads and were working closely with the attorney general of the state to find out if they were linked.

This incident was reminiscent of a robbery that took place at Louis Vuitton stores just 30 miles from Northbrook last month.

Northbrook Police stated that 13 thieves and 3 getaway drivers stole about $66,000 in products from the Louis Vuitton at Northbrook Court Mall.

Kruger stated to ABC 7 that while we don’t yet know if there’s a connection, there’s no doubt there’s a connection. However, there’s definite similarities, and their investigators are speaking with ours.

Oak Brook police and the Illinois Attorney General are working together to determine if these robberies have any connection.
