Kevin Maxwell and Isabel Maxwell, siblings of Ghislaine Maxwell, leave the federal courthouse on Wednesday

Ghislaine Maxwell’s siblings, Isabel Maxwell and Kevin Maxwell, left the federal courthouse Wednesday

Kevin did the talking while his sister stood beside him outside the court. The pair left without taking any questions

Kevin talked while his sister stood by him at the court. They left the court without answering any further questions.

Maxwell is Epstein’s ex girlfriend. She was accused of recruiting minors to the disgraced financier. They deny the accusations.

She was 59 years old when she was detained in July, after Judge Alison Nathan refused her bail applications.

According to court records, guards flashed light into the cell of Marissa and left her black-eyed.

The cell measures 6 feet by 9 feet and has no natural lighting.

Maxwell’s lawyers claim Maxwell also had maggots in the food she ate and rats in Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Centre.

Counsel for Maxwell stated that Maxwell has become less willing to give information to guards because of fear of punishment, discipline, and punitive tasks.

Ian Maxwell, another brother of Maxwell, said that his sister was in “effective isolation” at Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Centre. She is currently being held in an apartment measuring 6x9ft and 9ft. The cell has no natural lighting and includes a toilet.

Over unfounded concerns that she might be suicidal, he said she can’t sleep as she’s constantly being watched by 10 cameras and 4 guards.

Epstein, who was being held in Brooklyn on charges for sex trafficking in minors in Florida or New York, committed suicide in Brooklyn in 2019.

LBC spoke to Ian last Monday. He said that he had met Prince Andrew on two occasions at his sister’s house, so it was not necessary to speak to her.

He said that he knew them to be friends. Now, he finds himself in an awful position, where he was effectively ”cancelled.’ As a Royal Family member. I find this very doubtful.

‘So I hope that clearly my sister will be exonerated at the end of her trial and that that will in some way assist Prince Andrew clear his own name from the charges that he too is facing – although those are civil charges – from a very vocal accuser of both of them – who, I might add, is not testifying at the trial, which tells you all you need to know about her credibility.’

These six charges are against GhislaineMaxwell

Ghislaine Maxwell also faces two charges of perjury but those counts are due to be tried after her sex crimes trial.

THE FACTS

Prosecutors allege that Maxwell groomed 3 girls in 1994 to 1997 for Epstein.

The indictment does not name them, however, she is alleged to have targeted them in London.

Maxwell would, according to some reports, befriend the girls and ask them questions about their lives as well as their education. It is alleged that Maxwell would take the girls to movies, and then go shopping with them, putting them at ease. This trust was enough to allow her to deliver them to Epstein later.

In order to “normalize” the later abuse, she allegedly undressed before the girls and then asked sexual questions.

Prosecutors say she then assisted Epstein in their abuse, and even took part herself.

Some of the alleged sexual abuses include’sexualized group massaging’.

According to the indictment, Maxwell also encouraged Maxwell to encourage Maxwell to spend money on Epstein to pay for her education.
