Louise Pengelly from Latchley in Cornwall wrote the devastating note to the canine-loving monarch following the disappearance of Margie (pictured) and Ruby (pictured).

Her hand-written letter to Her Majesty’s Buckingham Palace address reads: ‘Dear Queen Elizabeth, I am writing this letter to ask for your help. Two little puppies were taken from Cornwall home of a Cornwall dog we love.

“Their owners are sad, upset, and they miss them very much. You are Queen, so I was hoping you would help me find them.

Then it continues, “Can you please help Margie and Ruby get on TV or radio?” They are their children, so help us get them back. They are as valuable as their children.

Angela, Giles and others have posted missing dog signs but no one has heard from them since their theft Jun 24, last year.

It reads, “Stolen dogs.” They are yours. Do you have the right to offer them? These girls need your help to reunite with their family.

Louise, who lives with her proud mother Feina Merritt, said that Her Majesty might be able to help because she is a dog lover and has corgis.

Today, she said: “I believed the Queen could help them find them. It is my hope that she does, as she is the Queen. I would like to write to her thanking her if she can.

Mother Feina replied that Louise wanted to help her and asked her “What if we write to The Queen mom?” The letter was written by Mother Feina herself, which I love.

Louise, a pet dog owner, felt sorry for Angela and decided that this was the best method to assist her in finding them.
