As she marked her 18th anniversary, Princess Ingrid Alexandra (Norway) cut an elegant figure.
Ingrid Alexandra, her grandfather and reigning King Harald V attended a cabinet meeting at The Royal Palace to mark Ingrid’s turning of the century.
The 18 year old put her hair up in a ponytail to show off her beautiful brunette locks. She wore a plain cream poloneck gown for the event.
Ingrid Alexandra kept it simple by leaving her makeup natural and fresh for the big event.
Ingrid Alexandra, the palace stated in a statement, will become more visible and assume greater responsibilities as a representative of the royal family. She will also continue her focus on her education.
Ingrid Alexandra is Norway’s first female monarch after her father Crown Prince Haakon (48) changed the law to permit first-born girls to ascend the throne to replace their younger brothers.

As Princess Ingrid Alexandra, Norway, celebrated her 18th birthday, she looked elegant joining King Harald V for a Cabinet Meeting at the Royal Palace.

For the occasion, the 18-year old wore a basic cream poloneck dress and shaved her blonde hair into a neat ponytail.
During the event, Princess Ingrid was gifted the painting ‘Missing Color’ by Astrid Nondal, by Norway’s parliament.
The princess could be seen posing for a snap alongside the painting and President of the the Norwegian Parliament Masud Gharahkhani and First Vice President Svein Harberg.
The queen could be seen putting her right hand on her chest while she entered cabinet meetings, to take in the incredible moment.
Her father, Crown Prince Haakon, was present as well and could be seen looking at his oldest daughter all through the meeting.

The black power blazer with matching black slim-cut trousers and a cream blouse looked great on her. Ingrid Alexandra kept it simple and wore her brunette hair down to the shoulders.
It is now her birthday that she may act as the Regent of Norway, should it be required.
Haakon, 48, ascended the throne ahead of his older sister Princess Märtha Louise, 50, who now lives in the US with her boyfriend, the spiritual leader Shaman Durek.
Their father King Harald, 84, ascended the throne in 1991.

Her father, the Crown Prince Haakon of Denmark was there as well. He could be seen smiling at his youngest daughter all through the meeting (photo left).

For the cabinet meeting, Princess Ingrid sat on the one-side of her grandfather while her father occupied the opposite side.
Ingrid has a younger brother, Prince Sverre Magnus, 16, and an older half-brother on her mother’s side, Marius Borg Høiby.
The previous Norwegian queen was Queen Margaret, who reigned over Norway, Denmark and Sweden from the late 1380s until her death in 1412.
Born in 2004 in Oslo, Princess Ingrid Alexandra attended the same local primary school as her half-brother, Mette-Marit’s son from a previous relationship.
The school was chosen by her parents because she wanted a simple childhood.

Newspaper reports said Princess Ingrid Alexandra would walk to school with her half-brother. The school officials wanted the school to be a space where Princess Ingrid Alexandra can make friends and escape from the scrutiny of the general public.
Ingrid Alexandra, a secondary school student is a keen skier, boxer, and surfer. Ingrid Alexandra was awarded a gold medal in the Norwegian surf championships for juniors, October 2020.
Ingrid Alexandra participated in several public events, which included the opening of a park for public sculptures in her honor in 2016.
Meanwhile Ingrid Alexandra’s cousin has become a social media sensation after building up a 200,000-strong following sharing snaps of her stylish outfits and easy make-up tips.
