Harry Styles was a fashion icon when he took part in Dazed’s Winter Issue cover shoot wearing a variety of extravagant dresses and kitten heels.
He announced at 27 that his brand Pleasing is going to be filling cabinets around the globe with nail varnish sets. They cost $65.
He insisted, however that he didn’t consider himself a style icon, even though he was pushing the limits with his genderfluid fashion.
“I don’t consider myself a style icon”: Harry Styles wore dresses and heels as he discussed his brand of beauty products in Dazed magazine.
Harry stated to the publication that he found it funny, because he doesn’t view himself in this way. [as a style icon]However, bringing people closer together is my greatest accomplishment.
“At shows I get a lot of a front row seat to see people just being themselves in a space.”
Harry then went on to discuss Pleasing his new beauty brand, noting that he started with nail polish because it was the beginning of its purpose.

“Me seeing colour on wallpapers or flowers and wanting to use it on my nails.” While it was an enjoyable little project, the Pandemic brought about a new era in our lives. We finally named Pleasing.
‘I’ve always found that the moments in my life which have brought me the most joy are the small ones, whether it be, you know, the end of the night under the stars or a bite of food, or sitting with your friends thinking, “Oh, I’m never gonna forget this.”
“It is always the moments I feel have the most lasting effect on me in terms of sparking anything wonderful within me. Pleasing, to me, is about finding little joys and sharing them with others.
Pushing the boundaries: Harry maintained that he didn’t view himself as a style icon despite his bold, genderfluid fashion.
Harry is known for breaking the rules when it comes fashion, and was first man to rock a Vogue dress last year.
Harry’s Vogue headlines caused a lot of controversy when they were published. Right-wing commentator Candace Owens hits the headlines, blasting the styling of the men and the’steady feministization’. She calls for society’s ‘bringback manly men’.
