FBI agents raided Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago Country Club in August to discover nuclear secrets belonging to a foreign country.

According to The Washington Post, the documents that were recovered needed to be cleared at such high levels, FBI agents, as well as senior officials in President Joe Biden’s administration, were denied access to them.

Further, the Post reports that these documents were extremely sensitive and that just a handful of national security officials had knowledge of them.

Ex-President Donald Trump, for his part, has claimed that the FBI raid wasn’t a hoax and that documents were to be placed at his presidential library. He even suggested that agents from law enforcement planted evidence during the search.

The Post reported that the documents described an enemy nation’s capability to use nuclear weapons to attack and how they could defend themselves against further attacks. Report does not mention the country in question.

Trump stated, as well that he had declassified all documents he carried to Mar-a-Lago.

An FBI photograph of the search released last week revealed how some of the documents were clearly marked classified - but sparked allegations of a smear against Trump

A FBI photo of last week’s search revealed that some documents had been clearly marked classified. However, it prompted allegations against Trump.

The Post report goes on to say that the documents were so sensitive, only a few dozen national security officials knew of their existence

According to the Post, these documents are so delicate that only a handful of national security officers knew they existed.

The Post report refers to sources familiar with the investigation. According to one source, the documents require clearance for special needs.

These documents are usually stored in safe places and guarded with a designated control officer.

The extent of the security measures at Trump’s country club is not known. It is also unknown where these documents are located in Mar-a-Lago.

According to the Feds documents were located in the former Apprentice host’s office, the personal residence of the owner, as well as in a storage cupboard.

According to the Post, agents who took the documents home became frightened as they read through them and decided that the information was not appropriate for their own use.

The Washington Post published August’s report that the FBI was looking for documents related to nuclear weapons.

In May, a grand jury subpoena mentioned Trump could have kept nuclear data. The classification refers to ‘Formerly Restricted Data.

It was revealed that a filter team’ of FBI agents had been poring through 15 boxes of Mar-a-Lago material. They have already reviewed material which may be subject to attorney-client privilege and informed a judge that they will provide a thorough review.

The material will still be sealed after a federal court judge granted the request of former President Donald Trump for a “special master” to inspect them.

Trump stated in Truth Social on August 14 that the FBI did not have the right to seize confidential documents and demanded they be returned.

‘Oh great! It has just been learned that the FBI, in its now famous raid of Mar-a-Lago, took boxes of privileged “attorney-client” material, and also “executive” privileged material, which they knowingly should not have taken,’ he wrote.

‘By copying this TRUE, I respectfully ask that the documents be returned immediately to the place where they were taken. We are grateful!

Trump’s former Attorney General Bill Barr blasted the decision to grant a special master and said the decision would likely be overturned if the government appealed.

Fox News interviewed him and said that the opinion he had heard was inaccurate. He also stated that he believed the government should appeal.

It is inherently flawed in many aspects.

In all cases, he stated, such as with the weight of evidence, that ‘I don’t see it fundamentally altering the trajectory.

This comes just weeks after Trump claimed that he had “jerked around” investigators last week and didn’t have any legitimate reason to retain government documents at Florida residence.
