The family snaps come two days after Alec posted a video on Instagram on December 23 where he appears to wallow in self-pity over the ‘really tough time’ he has been having in recent weeks after accidentally shooting dead a cinematographer on the set of Rust.
Two months ago, the actor uploaded a clip of him speaking into the camera. This was two months after an accidently shot Halyna Hutchins (42), on the set of his Western movie in New Mexico.
Alec’s three minute long video is rambling and depressing. He tells his followers that the only thing that he has left is his family and wife.
Alec looks tired and drained in the video. His hair is unkempt, his face unshaven, and he rants about how he hopes to see the future.
Alec Baldwin posted a video, in which he seems to feel self-pity for his recent’really hard time’ after shooting dead a cinematographer while on Rust’s set.
He thanked his fans, family, and friends first.
Alec stood outside and said, “I want to take a minute to thank all the people who have sent me such kind thoughts and best wishes and strengths and hope and prayers, so forth and thoughts…and lots of encouragement and tons of really really wonderful sentiments.”
“I received hundreds upon hundreds of emails from family, friends and colleagues. People I hadn’t seen in a long time wanted to give me support and best wishes. Thank you so much. Many Instagram users commenting are supportive of my difficult situation.
He said, “I am looking forward to certain aspects of this being behind, of course.”
“For all those involved in this, it will never be over because someone has died so tragically. This is something I don’t lose sight of. This is something that I never lose sight of.
Alec currently is the center of an investigation into Hutchins’ death. He was killed on October 31st at Rust.
Alec accidentally discharged a prop gun, causing the death of the cinematographer. Joel Souza (director of the film) was also injured in the shoulder but survived.
Alec stated, “I’m at home with my family. It’s the only thing that I care about,”
Alec shared the emotion in a video message.
“I want to thank everyone who has sent good wishes to me and supported me. I am very grateful. This has been very difficult for me. It’s been difficult. Happy holidays, happy Hanukkah, happy Christmas, and happy Kwanzaa. He continued, “Whatever holiday you are celebrating,” he said. The clip appeared to have been shot in Hamptons, where his family has a home.
Although the actor admitted that he is going through “a very difficult time” since Rust filming, there was a lot of support messages to go along with his video message.

After speaking with investigators, Alec Baldwin was seen October 21 after being interviewed about the shooting.
Hutchins shot moments after the crew had entered a church in order to rehearsal a scene.
“I wish you are as fortunate as me in one department, and I hope you have a wonderful time at home with your loved ones. My family is my home. This is all that I have. It’s all that really matters.
“I have nothing to add, but I want to thank everyone who gave me their great wishes. Wear a mask and get the booster to stay safe. Alec signed off by saying, “Don’t let Santa Claus descend the chimney without wearing a mask.”
Investigators have issued an arrest warrant for Alec’s cell phone in the Rust investigation. New Mexico authorities are continuing to investigate the tragedy.
Alec is not being charged. However, the investigation continues. Baldwin claims he didn’t pull the trigger and authorities still don’t know how the live rounds got into the prop gun.
Halyna Houtchins, age 42, was killed when the gun Baldwin was operating ‘went out’ and she was hit.
