Devin Ratray, Home Alone’s star, reportedly surrendered and was granted a $25,000 bond
Devin Ratray, star of Home Alone was taken into custody Wednesday for domestic violence after he allegedly strangled his lover in a hotel room in Oklahoma earlier this month.
Ratray, 44 years old, was a guest at OKC Pop Christmas Con, Oklahoma City, with his girlfriend. He was one of the attraction at the two-day event.
He is most well-known as Kevin McCallister, the evil older brother of Kevin McCallister in Home Alone (1990), starring Macaulay Clulkin.
He allegedly got mad at his girlfriend after he refused to pay two women for her autograph.
After the fight, he tried to strangle her by getting violent in his hotel bedroom.
Ratray was detained on Wednesday. She is currently facing charges for domestic assault by battery and battery through strangulation as well as domestic assault charges.
Fox News reports that Ratray, according to a police source, ‘turned himself into the authorities and was thoroughly processed and bonded out’.
After posting a bond of $25,000, he has been released. He denies all allegations.

Ratray’s role in Home Alone as Buzz McCallister, Kevin McCallister’s evil older brother, is his most well-known.

Ratray had been with his girlfriend, who remains unnamed, at the convention earlier this month, which took place between December 4-5 at the Wyndham Garden Oklahoma City Airport.
Ratray and Ratray were alleged to have been out drinking, Ratray’s girlfriend reporting that Ratray had drunk at least one bottle of wine as well as 10 shots of liquor.
The fans approached them while they were at the bar, where Ratray’s girlfriend had offered to autograph their photos for free.
After they returned to their hotel room at Hyatt Place Oklahoma City, Ratray allegedly pushed her onto the bed before putting one hand on her throat and the other on her mouth.
‘The victim had trouble breathing while she was being strangled and while the defendant’s hand was over her mouth,’ according to an affidavit.
Ratray, allegedly said also to her “This is the way you die” as he choked her.
Ratray’s girlfriend then bit Ratray while she tried desperately to get help.
After he had stopped with the choke, he allegedly continued to punch her violently.
Then, she managed to free herself from Ratray’s grip and run out of the room.
Ratray allegedly also punched her on a desk after she returned from the bedroom to retrieve her belongings.
Ratray is accused of strangling his girlfriend in the Hyatt Hotel Oklahoma City. This happened after Ratray received autographs from fans at a bar where they were both at.
Ratray, allegedly, pushed her into the bed and held his hands above her neck. He then said “This is how I die.”
KFOR reports that the victim suffered multiple injuries. These included bruising below her left eye, bruises above her right eye, and marks over her left lip.
After the fight, both of them have split.
The Oklahoma County District Court Assistant District Attorney Stephanie Powers filed charges against Ratray Tuesday
Ratray claimed that he had never touched her and denied any violent encounter.
‘Mr. Scott Adams, Ratray’s attorney said that Ratray has denied ever having a hand on his client or doing anything related to it.
“What we know is that the person he was in a dispute with was not from our town. She finally called the police. The police arrived at the scene, and Mr. Ratray was questioned by two officers. They spoke to the female. They didn’t see anything that they thought was sufficient enough to place him under arrest or take him into custody.’

He was also a part of the Home Alone TV series in 1989. In 1993, he appeared as Mickey in Dennis The Menace.
The star popped up in several TV series such as Third Watch, Law & Order, The Good Wife and Mosaic.
He worked alongside Jennifer Lopez in 2019 on Hustlers, a stripper movie. Last time he acted was in Kimi, a film starring Erika Christensen and Zoe Kravitz.
