An unmarried woman has been accused of the murder, rape, and torture of 12-year-old girl. Her throat was cut before her body was placed in a suitcase.

Dahbia B., a 24-year-old homeless woman originally from Algeria, appeared before examining magistrates today following her arrest on Saturday and was indicted in connection with the gruesome killing of Lola Daviet.

The schoolgirl was found on Friday, tied up inside the plastic suitcase near her home with the numbers ‘1’ and ‘0’ imprinted on her chest, and then left in the inner courtyard of a building in the French capital’s northeast.

CCTV footage showed both her alleged murderer and her victim right next to Lola’s block of flats.

Lola’s horrifically mutilated body, which was found near the building in the 19th arrondissement of the city, was discovered later. She lived there with Johan Daviet and Delphine Daviet.

An investigating source said that the suspect boasted of selling body parts. “Evidence shows that the girl was taken to the basement and tortured before she was raped and then strangled. Her throat was also cut.”

According to the source, “The suspect may have serious mental problems.” The suspect was living in poverty, but she had relatives and friends in Paris.

According to judicial sources, Dahbia B is being held in custody for ‘The murder and rape of a minor under 15 years old’.

A murder probe has been launched into the death of the girl - named by French media as Lola Daviet - after her corpse was found tied up inside the plastic suitcase close to her home in the French capital late on Friday night

After her body was discovered in a plastic bag close to her Paris home late Friday night, a murder investigation has been initiated into her death.

Lola, partially obscured by the doors as she chases her suspect murderer (pictured centre), is visible. Lola is wearing grey pants, trainers, and white leggings as the suspect. Lola followed the suspect into the building.

Lola is pictured in this CCTV footage still wearing a white coat and carrying what appears to be her schoolbag

Lola can be seen in the CCTV footage wearing a white jacket and carrying what looks like her schoolbag.

The body was found on Friday evening. Three persons were detained near it. Also, a female who was seen with the victim hours earlier was taken into police custody. Le Parisien stated that two other people were also taken into custody. All three are from Algeria.

She was found naked, with her hands and wrists bound and taped around her face, and multiple cuts in her throat. This happened just hours after her parents reported that she had gone missing from their home after she didn’t return to classes at Georges-Brassens College, only yards from her residence.

According to a French television station, BFMTV, she had the numbers inscribed on her body with a “device” rather than being cut into her skin.

A post-mortem examination on Saturday concluded that she had died of asphyxiation following a physical attack that included a knife being used to cut her body..

A chilling security camera video has been released that shows the girl in white, carrying what looks like a schoolbag and walking to her apartment behind an older woman, who witnesses claim was carrying the bag later.

Lola vanished two hours ago, according to one resident.

He said, “We witnessed her enter the building and saw that she had a suitcase.” “She didn’t seem to be right in her mind.”

Other witnesses saw her drinking coffee and eating croissants as she seemed to be trying to figure out the next step.

French media were informed that police had discovered signs of kidnapping at the basement of the property and started a murder inquiry.

Lola's corpse was discovered on Friday evening by a homeless man who saw an abandoned suitcase on the street

Lola’s body was found by a homeless person who saw a suitcase abandoned on the streets.

The girl was found outside a block of flats on Rue d'Hautpoul (pictured) in the French capital's 19th arrondissement after she had been reported missing by her mother when she failed to return home from school

After being reported missing by her mom when she did not return from school, she was located outside a block at Rue d’Hautpoul.

According to reports, the schoolgirl had several injuries to her throat and her face was taped.

Delphine, the mother of the victim, called police Friday at 5pm. Delphine became concerned that her daughter might not have returned to home. After this, she posted a desperate appeal on social media.

Delphine uploaded a photo of Lola and the message, “Our little girl Lola was last seen in the company of someone we don’t know at our home.”

Only Lola was captured in surveillance video at the entry of the building. She followed her suspect killer into her block.

A homeless man contacted the police less than six hours after he allegedly stumbled on the suitcase. The body was found inside Rue d’Hautpoul, just a stone’s throw from the victim’s residence.

Police arrested several individuals, including the suspect female who was seen with the suitcase and homeless man reporting Lola’s remains.

BFMTV was informed by the public prosecutor that Lola had discovered signs of struggle in one basement room.

Parisian officials stated that Lola’s students and staff at Georges-Brassens School would be receiving psychological support. They also offered assistance to nearby schools.
