The I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here Contestants for this year have been announced.

Ex-BBC Breakfast presenter Louise Minchin and Olympian Matty Lee are among the stars who will be heading to the castle. Also, GMB stars Richard Madeley and choreographer Arlene Phillips. Saturday’s stars Frankie Bridge, Emmerdale’s Danny Miller, as well as footballer David Ginola and Saturday’s actor Frankie Bridge, are some of the other stars.

In spite of ongoing travel restrictions and coronavirus concerns, the show moved to Wales this year for its second year.

Gwrych Castle, Abergele, North Wales has undergone major renovations in recent weeks ahead of Giovanna’s arrival on ITV’s launch show. It will be broadcast at 9pm, Sunday 21 November.

REVEALED! The stars headed to the castle comprise L-R David Ginola, Louise Minchin, Snoochie Shy, Richard Madeley, Frankie Bridge, Kadeena Cox, Matty Lee, Naughty Boy, Ben Miller and Arlene Phillips

Produces will create a bubble to protect the stars’ faces. This will avoid any disputes over vaccines, and ensure that they are safe when in quarantine.

MailOnline previously heard from a spokesperson for the show that celebrities would go through a two-week quarantine and be subject to regular testing before they enter the castle. Once inside, they’ll then create a bubble which will last them the length of the show.

Louise (53), who has been leading the arrivals since she left BBC Breakfast after 20 years of being a host.

She spoke about the jungle and said that “Going to I’m a Celebrity is an exciting adventure.” It is quite different from sitting on BBC Breakfast’s sofa. Although it may be frightening and intimidating, it will also provide lots of entertainment.

“I’ve been past this Castle quite often and I’m really excited to have it back in Wales.”

“This was the time I broke my ankle last year and I watched every minute of it from home. I thought, “Oh my goodness that Castle is amazing, I’d love to one day be part of it.” And now, I’m!

Her family’s fears were addressed by her: “The greatest challenge to me will be the small spaces.”

“It’s impossible to get into a lift with so many people and I’d rather go up the stairs instead of taking the elevator.”

“And any cockroaches spiders rats, I will squeal & scream. It is not what I would call fun.

“My family is worried that I’ll scream and cause a great deal of trouble.

“But, they are also very excited because they know my passion for challenging myself.”

When asked about her loss, she said that it would be difficult to live without her family and she was going to miss them deeply.

“I chat with my daughters everyday about three times a days…

“I’ll also be missing my very comfortable bed and bath. Although I have camped in the past, it was for only two nights. This is a constant.

Cheeky! Fellow broadcaster Richard, 65, is next in the line-up and spoke of why he chose to appear on the show

Cheeky! Richard (65), a fellow broadcaster, joins the ranks and discusses why he decided to be on the program

Richard (65), a fellow broadcaster, spoke out about why he decided to join the program. ‘Up till now, I was perfectly content watching TV as a viewer, but I recently realized that I am A Celebrity is more than just a television programme.

“It’s part of British culture and part the countdown to Christmas…

It suddenly occurred to me that people talk about it all the time, so I began to wonder what it would feel like being there and not just watching. The time was right to go and experience it.

“Judy, I and others discussed it. We realized that there was no reason to me not doing it.

“I fell asleep on it and woke up excited to find out that I had said yes. My children are laughing that I am participating!

Richard was a well-known outspoken speaker who said, “I don’t worry what people think.”

“If you worry about what people think of you and are constantly in public view, it is easy to go mad!”

His lifelong preparation for this role was detailed by him: “I spent many years working on the farm of my grandparents in Shropshire.”

“I’m used to rats and animals so that’s what I have had. The Castle’s entrance is what I dislike the most.

“Maybe I’ll have to walk the plank across a 150-foot open area. It is not something I look forward to and it could be a dangerous exercise for my brain and body.

She stated that she was surprised by the attention of people and said, “I’m A Celebrity is something I do. I’m scared of many things but I want to push myself.

“I fear rats. I’m a picky eater. Ketchup is a problem for me. Anything that makes me eat a lot will make my stomach churn…

I also dislike spiders, and getting trapped in tiny spaces in my home is an issue for me. That is precisely why I do it.

Frankie commented on Wayne’s 2016 appearance: “Ever since Wayne took it, he was desperate for me too, and he can’t wait to watch my squirm!

‘My kids are still quite young, and they still think I am quite cool – so there is a very small window for them to watch it and not be embarrassed! It is now that I believe it’s the right time. It’s a show I also love.

Wayne advised her to tell her: “Because my body isn’t in the jungle or in the castle, it is difficult to know what it will feel like for me,” she responds. His main advice to her is to not be too focused on things, but just have fun.

Naughty Boy, a producer who is well-known for his work with Zayn Malik and Beyonce, will be next on the list.

The hit record producer – real name is Shahid Khan – thinks his background working with artists will help prepare him for life with fellow stars when he gets into the camp.

He stated that ‘I would like to see more musicians enter the Castle series. Sir Elton John would have been incredible to meet if he was to come in. “We musicians are better than most people realize because we spend so much time in the studio…

“I am very excited to be a Celebrity on I’m A Celebrity.” People should get to know me. My celebrity status is not my real identity. Music is my celebrity, and this is your chance to see what I’m really like.

He reflects further on his reasons for taking on the Welsh Castle experience and says: “I most look forward to learning more about myself.”

“I have no idea what music industry people will think about my appearance in Castle. But, I feel that everyone needs to take a step back from all the hustle and bustle once in a while. While I am close to my family and friends, I believe it’s important to take a time-out and have some fun.

He explained to us that his mom has dementia and he was caring for her.

“I believe it’s important that people like me create awareness about this,” he said. Dementia UK requires constant funding. I will miss Mum most while I’m away at the Castle. My Mum is my only child, so I’m used to seeing her every day.

“Mum is not feeling well and I’m going to miss her terribly. I do believe that the break is good for us all.

Way back: Pictured on Strictly in 2008

Dame Arlene is the oldest celebrity to ever enter the show at the age of 78.

According to her, shock was felt by many of her friends at her sudden decision.

Speaking about her former Strictly co-star Craig Revel Horwood’s reaction to her entrance, she said: ‘Craig will say ‘Darling, are you mad?!’

“I can’t believe it’s happening, but I love everyone who’s done it. I admire their courage and have talked to many who’ve done it.

“Everyone loved it and said how much it had added to their lives. That is why, after having been approached previously, I decided to say yes again this year.

It doesn’t matter what age she’s at, as long as she’s in Castle.

On her phobias, she stated: ‘Spiders, all those things you find on I’m A Celebrity – I don’t like them but I have this great fantasy that I can put myself in a place that will deal with it all.’

Arlene also spoke about famed food rations. If they’re lucky they might eat more…

“Food is not my biggest worry. As someone who enjoys sitting and thinking, I don’t fear being bored. My greatest concern is about the trials and the challenges.

This is him! Emmerdale’s star Danny has been playing Aaron Dingle for thirteen years.

Emmerdale star Danny, who has played Aaron Dingle on and off for 13 years, is the next star up.

He admitted he was torn about entering the jungle as he has only recently became a father for the first time, with his fiancée, Steph. They decided that he could not refuse the opportunity of a life-changing moment.

Soapy: Danny is pictured on Emmerdale in 2011

Soapy: Danny appears on Emmerdale 2011

He stated: “Steph, I and I had an extensive discussion about me participating in I’m A Celebrity…

“We had been scheduled to begin IVF in the spring of this year, which would have made it possible for Steph to have a baby next March. It wouldn’t have really mattered. Steph became pregnant after a miracle (without IVF). My baby was only a month old at the time I entered Castle.

Steph was my biggest worry about Steph taking care of the baby alone, but Steph’s a midwife, so I have no worries. Our baby is in good hands. This is a wonderful opportunity for her to be supportive.

“And so, after many discussions, I have said yes!” “I’m a Celebrity” is the most popular show in America. I wanted to share with people my personality as Danny …..

“It’ll be nice to have people see me laughing, not crying!” I am a fun guy at home and I’ve been known as Aaron now for 13 years – it’s good to step outside your comfort zone.’

He had been eating beans and rice without flavouring to get ready for the Castle trip. Once I get to the Castle, I’ll have to adapt to this.

“I like to think of myself as a peacekeeper. If someone is being walked around, I will stand up for them and attempt to calm down. I am sure that I can do my share around the camp.

She stated, “Going on I’m a Celebrity is so much different for me. It’s totally out of my comfort zone.

“As Paralympian you always want to earn that one percentage extra every time. I was able to defend my title this year in Tokyo, but going into Castle I expect it to be far more difficult mentally.

“I’m afraid of spiders and don’t want to be bitten by rats. I also don’t enjoy heights. It is my hope the athlete inside me will do what it takes to get through the tough moments. After that, I’ll scream.

“My mom thinks that I’m crazy for doing this, and I don’t know why. But I’m looking forward to getting to meet new people from all walks of life.

Kadeena – who was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in 2014 – says the lack of food in the Castle will not prove too much of a nightmare because she is so used to avoiding things she loves.

Star athlete, awarded MBE 2017 in 2017, revealed she is already trying to eliminate sugar. “As an athlete, it is important to keep your mouth shut and avoid temptations. However, I still have a sweet tooth so I have started cutting out sugar.

Snoochie (29 years old) will be taking a break in her DJing career and heading into the jungle.

She spoke out about her fears, and her recent visit to the theme park that left her speechless in a pre-Castle chat.

“There was a drop of 20 feet on the ride that we rode on, and I was so afraid, I didn’t make any noise.”

“When I got off the bus, I was crying.” My mum laughs because I am such an anxious cat.

‘Bugs don’t get along with me. I hate heights and am claustrophobic as well.

“But all that being said, I’m most excited about the Trials!” All of them are crazy.

“That trial, which involves a coffin with bugs, is the one she most fears,” she said.

“I’ve seen them crawling up the noses of other people and am afraid that they’ll do it to me.”

“But, I’m excited to take part in the show and they asked me to join them immediately after I agreed.

Here he is! Footballer David is another athlete in the dazzling line-up for this year's show

This is him! David, a footballer, is yet another star in this year’s spectacular line-up.

Another athlete featured in this year’s spectacular line-up is David, the Footballer.

He admits he always ‘sets out to win’ anything he does as he eyes up the ‘King of the Castle’ crown and reunites with some very special fans of his old club, Newcastle United – Ant and Dec.

Wow! David is seen playing for Tottenham in 1997

Wow! David was seen in 1997 playing for Tottenham

Former Newcastle and Spurs football player who quit in 2002 admits that he was excited to catch up with famous Castle presenters after having met them during games for his favourite team.

He stated, “I know the Geordies!” Ant and Dec have been friends of mine and they love Newcastle United. All of the supporters are incredible and loyal when you’re playing for Newcastle United (as I was).

“Newcastle is extremely lucky to have such great fans!” It’s starting to sink now that I’m doing I’m a Celebrity. “Why not?” I said yes to the offer of the chance to be part of the I’m A Celebrity program. I think it will be a wonderful experience. It also gives you the opportunity to spend three weeks in Castle performing things that you never did before.

He admitted that he does not mind following a strict diet of rice and beans in Castle, and stated that he also hopes to be able to cook for his celebrity friends.

He added, “I’ll be the chef at the camp.” Because I am six-kilos heavier than I was in the previous three months, rice and beans will work for me. I would be interested to see if it is possible to lose six more in just three weeks.

“Because of the fact that we have been in lockdown several times during the past two-years, being in a Castle to I’m A Celebrity will not be an issue.

Ge admitted that he would miss his daughter of two years, but said: “I will miss my baby girl. Since she was born, I’ve been sharing her daily life with her. It’s not only me. This is about her longing to be with her dad. It will be hard to bear that feeling.

Matty (23 years old) will be flying the sporting flag alongside other athletes. Matty won Gold alongside Tom Daley at the Tokyo Olympics in 10 metressynchronized diving this summer and said that taking part on Matty’s favourite show was “the cherry on top”.

Matty revealed that he had been approached by I’m A Celebrity about his experience in landing in the UK after the Tokyo Games. He said: “Nothing prepares you for the life you will have after the Olympics.

“I’m still shocked that I do I’m a Celebrity. Two of my childhood goals were to be an Olympic champion and to appear in my favorite TV show. This year, I’m achieving both of these goals.

“My entire family is abuzz about it. When I received the call regarding the program, we were returning from Tokyo’s airport.

“When I shared my story with Tom, he was also shocked! His excitement is overwhelming and he’s been so supportive over the past 3 years. Tom is always there to give me his advice, whether it be about relationships or anything else.

He acknowledged that it would be great to get out of the shadows of his partner.

He said, “Everyone is familiar with Tom Daley but they don’t know me.”

“But without one another, we would not have accomplished what we have done.” He gives credit to me …..

“He’s really excited for me to learn and is happy to give me the chance to meet new people. “I was watching the Olympic final the other night and realized that I looked a little angry, but that is just me being in this zone!” In reality, I don’t look like that!
