The storm Barra waged war against Gwrych Castle in Wales while the celebs buckled down for the second-day of torrential rainfall. 

Photos taken Wednesday night show I’m A Celebrity barely visible in the dense cloud of rain that was sweeping across the nation. 

There are growing concerns about the impact of the seven day weather forecast, which predicts more stormy weather in the days ahead. It comes only days after Storm Arwen forced the show from air.

On Tuesday the Met Office sent out a yellow wind warning for Cowny County. It was accompanied by expectations that there may be disruptions in power and transportation during this time. 

Storm Barra was certainly at work in Abergele. Signs surrounding the location were destroyed by strong winds. 

According to The Sun a wind caused a tree to be felled and rocks to fall behind the castle, where celebrities have been camping.

Sources said that production and ITV bosses hope this will be as disastrous as Barra. They were clearly not spared by Storm Arwen, which caused them a lot of pain. But this time around it’s been predicted that the wind won’t be as bad.

‘That said, it’s still been wet and blowy enough to bring down a huge tree branch, and cause a rock formation to slide behind the castle, ending up on a production path.

‘They’re crossing their fingers that this is the worst of it and they can get to the end of the series with no further delays.’ 

MailOnline reached out to ITV in order for them to comment.

Storm Barra has had a devastating impact on the UK, Ireland and the United Kingdom. It caused heavy rain, gusty winds and power outages that lasted for several days.

Four finalists take on the famous aqua challenge. They dress up as super heroes and attempt to climb a huge water slide while being hosed and bombarded with obstacles. 

The Sun was told by a source that producers were panicking about this episode. This is what celebrities claim to be the main point of the show.  

“Production staff are busy reviewing the weather before filming this episode later in the week. The crew has ten weather apps that provide them with minute-by-minute updates.

“The Cyclone” is difficult work. It is possible that it will be the last time the Cyclone has been included in the series.

It comes after the ITV show was forced off-air in late November after the extreme weather in Wales caused technical damage on set and meant the celebrities had to be removed from their camp and returned to quarantine.   

I’m A Celeb stars have been forced to endure 8°C cold temperatures and no protection from the elements after bosses shelled out £1 million to secure use of the site when production was forced to be relocated from Australia due to COVID-19.

Ant McPartlin, co-host of the show added that it felt so good to be back. We hadn’t seen you since Friday due to how much damage was done by Hurricane Irene. It turned out that these castles are made to last. It was a difficult task to bring the show back online, but the team performed an outstanding job.

Following the Storm Arwen break, I’m A Celebrity saw 5.2 million viewers Monday night. This is an increase of Sunday’s episode which had 4.9 million.

Analysing the overnight numbers showed that the ITV series reached a peak of 5.8 million. This is still far from its glory days, when 12.14 million viewers tuned in to the series every night. 

When the numbers for viewers who watched the ITV Hub episode after the show ended are added, I’m A Celebrity usually sees a significant increase in ratings.
