Ghislaine Maxill’s ex-London pied-aterre where Prince Andrew allegedly had sex, which she sold to pay the legal fees in her US trial, is now on the market just one year later.
Maxwell sold the mews house in London’s Belgravia, just a stone’s throw from Harrods, last April for £1.75 million as she prepared to face charges that she recruited and trafficked young girls to be sexually abused by the late American financier Jeffrey Epstein.
Maxwell, 60, was found guilty by a jury last December and faces up to 65 years in prison as she awaits sentencing after fighting the case, which is estimated to have cost her around £7 million.
Her former Belgravia home was purchased by a property development company and is now up for sale for £2.6million, a price which it is likely to fetch given its location in one of London’s most exclusive districts.

Potential buyers can have sex in Virginia Roberts’ bathroom (pictured), in which she alleges she had sex one night with Prince Andrew while she was 17, a trafficking victim under Jeffrey Epstein.
Ms Roberts claimed that Prince Andrew and she shared a bed at Belgravia, Maxwell’s home in Belgravia shortly after they were photographed together on the first level landing.
The floorplan of Maxwell’s home shows the location where Prince Andrew was photographed. This is the central point to the civil case that Ms Giffre is bringing against Prince Andrew. It will be held in the US at the end of the year. Andrew has never denied any wrongdoing
Andrew is seen in the three-bedroom property with two bathrooms. He is seen there holding his arm to the waist of Roberts (17 years old), one of Epstein’s victims. Virginia Giuffre is her married name.
Andrew’s civil suit against her in the US has been centered on this simple, stylish house. He allegedly had sex in her bathroom on three occasions. She also claims she was made to sexually engage with Andrew by Epstein and Maxwell.
Andrew strongly denied wrongdoing. He claimed that he never met Ms Roberts (a 38-year old mother of three living in Australia).

She wrote in her memoir about Maxwell’s Belgravia visit, “I turned on the faucets for the bathtub and the heat of the water began steaming up the small space. . . To make my youthfulness shine, I started to remove my clothes piece by piece. . . As he loved it, I went to his place and watched him wait. Then I began to undress him.
The bath was described by her as a Victorian-style tub in the center of the room, with a tiled beige floor.
Ms Roberts stated that Andrew had sex with her at Tramps in March 2001, and they went back to Maxwell’s Belgravia house to have sex.
Andrew rebutted the claims in a BBC Newsnight interview. He denied that he could sweat due to an adrenaline ‘overdose’ from the Falklands War when he was gunned down.
He said that it was almost impossible for him to sweat.
Ms Roberts attorneys have requested that medical evidence be provided to support this claim as they prepare the civil case against Andrew.
Maxwell’s ex-home is advertised on several property sites. The pictures show an entirely different bathroom from the one Ms Roberts describes. This could be a key point in Andrew’s defense.
The second floor bathroom is not equipped with a Victorian tub. It measures 8.2 feet by 7.3 feet.
The property’s historic floorplan taken from a 1987 planning application shows a ‘standard size’ — 5ft 6in by 2ft 4in — alcove bath, boxed in on two sides by walls and on a third by the back of the airing cupboard.
The current images depict almost identical layout, which includes an alcove bathtub of average size on one side and a toilet nearby.

The property, which comes with a shabby chic kitchen (above) was purchased last year by Hampshire-based property developers and financers Stuart Robinson, 52; Emma Jane Robinson, 55 and Amy Robinson
The current owners of the home, which comes with at least one en-suite bathroom (above) stand to make a profit of £850,000 if they achieve the sale price of £2.6million, having purchased it for £1.75million just seven months ago
Maxwell’s sale of the property was accompanied by insiders who revealed that there has not been any major renovation to the house, except for an exterior painting.
Under oath, Maxwell maintained that the tub was too small to support any kind of activity during Ms Roberts’ defamation suit against her.
According to reports, Maxwell’s legal staff also took a bath in the tub together. This was done to check the possibility of assignation like that which Ms Roberts described.
Epstein also challenged the story of the alleged events that took place in the bathtub, considering its size.
Brad Edwards, the lawyer for Ms Roberts, wrote in his book Relentless Pursuit that Epstein had discussed taking a bath when they met at a Starbucks in Boca Raton in Florida in 2015. It was an accidental contact by the tycoon.
Epstein said to him, ‘If you could show me how small Ghislaine’s tub was inside that apartment it would be difficult for two persons to fit into there.
Maxwell had the property sold in July before the US sex-trafficking trial in which she was charged with grooming teenager girls to be sex partners for Epstein, a billionaire US financier.
Ms Roberts (left), a 38-year old married mother-of-3 living in Australia, is now suing Prince Andrew in America for a civil case. She alleges that she had three sex sessions with him as a teenager.
Prime Location website describes the property as a charming mews home’ that requires renovation and ‘with lots of potential for an in-coming purchaser.
“The property comprises a spacious ground floor reception with adjoining kitchen. There are two double bedrooms and a family bathroom at the first floor. The master bedroom has an en-suite and dressing area. A terrace wraps around the entire second floor.
Maxwell’s sale was accompanied by insiders who revealed that the exterior of Maxwell’s property has only been painted.
Maxwell’s Belgravia house was bought last year by Hampshire property financiers and developers Stuart Robinson (52; Emma Jane Robinson (55) and Amy Robinson (11). Maxwell is unknown at this time.
They stand to make a significant profit of £850,000 if they secure the asking price and have been using the property as a London base since purchasing it.
The Robinsons run a property company called Stay Calm Residential Limited in Southampton, which is worth an estimated £20 million and has extensive real estate interests in London and the South East.
