After falling from her hotel bed, the Japanese actress who played Anna in Japan’s dubbed version “Frozen” has now died.
Sayaka Kanda, 35, was found on the outside area of 14th floor of the 22-storey hotel where she was staying at 9.40pm on December 18.
According to reports in local media, she was brought to the hospital and declared dead.
Ms Kanda played Princess Anna in Japan’s animated Walt Disney movie ‘Frozen. She was the daughter Japanese actor Masaki Kanda (70) and Seiko Maatsuda (59).
Ms Kanda was not able to attend the performance of “My Fair Lady” at the Sapporo theatre, capital of Hokkaido’s mountainous northern Japanese islands, Saturday afternoon.

She was born to Japanese actor Masaki Kanda (70) and Seiko Matsuda (59).
Ms Kanda’s agency said: ‘We are very sorry to give such a report to all the fans who supported us and all the people who took care of us. We still cannot accept her passing, and are trying to make peace with it.
According to local media sources, however, she was present at rehearsals on Friday.
Takako Maatsu was the voice of Elsa in Japanese version of “Frozen” and she commented on Disney’s official Twitter account, that she had been left speechless by her colleague’s passing, saying that the time they spent together was a treasure.
Ms Kanda’s agent said that they were sorry to write such a report.
“We remain unable to accept the loss of our mother and have been trying to make peace with her passing.”
Investigators from the police continue to investigate whether Ms. Kanda died by suicide or due to a tragic accident.
