Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck tied the knot on Saturday in an amazing ceremony at their $8.9million Georgia “plantation” mansion. They were surrounded by friends, family and A-List stars.

Lopez wore a Ralph Lauren gown with a long train and veil in white. Affleck sported contrasting black and white tuxedos.

Photographs taken from the top showed A-listers hugging one another while smiling at each other, walking beside a white, snowy altar, and exchanging smiles on a waterfront jetty.

Ben, 50 years old, wore a white tuxedo jacket with a black bow tie, and black pants and towered above his bride, 53.

Her fourth husband was present and she seemed captivated by their idyllic surroundings. An evening concluded with fireworks from the property’s lake. Savannah trolley buses entered the property to take the couple’s guests about.

This happy reunion takes place 20 years ago, after the couple first met and were engaged. However, their wedding was postponed in 2003 due to excessive media attention.

Close friends and family followed Affleck’s second wife Jennifer Garner down the aisle following their nuptials.

Joining Affleck were his three kids from his marriage to Jennifer Garner, Violet, 16, Seraphina, 13, and Sam, 11. And standing by JLO were her twins, Emme and Max, 14,  that she had with Marc Anthony.

Garner’s absence made Garner notable. Affleck was also absent after Casey said he had previous parental commitments in Los Angeles.

A number of A-List celebrities were there to celebrate the couple’s union.

Matt Damon was long associated with Affleck. He is also a co-Oscar nominee with fellow Massachusettsn for Good Will Hunting.

They arrived on a private aircraft at the airport near the venue of the celebration.

Actor Jason Mewes and director Kevin Smith – well-known for being paired as “Jay” and “Silent Bob”, respectively – were both spotted at the Georgia party.

Smith was seen with Jennifer Schwalbach Smith at Hertz as they drove to the party.

Others expected to attend the party are Jane Fonda, George Clooney and Rene Zellweger. Jimmy Kimmel is also expected.

Casey, Affleck’s 47-year-old brother, was not present. Casey said that due to his ‘parental commitments at home’, he was unable to attend the wedding.

Jennifer Garner (Affleck’s ex) was also absent from the celebration. Jennifer Garner is still close to Affleck, but she couldn’t attend because of scheduling conflicts. She is currently filming in Texas.

Following the wedding ceremony, Affleck and Lopez walked with their guest towards the estate’s Oyster House, which is expected to hold the wedding reception.

Before the ceremony, security was strict around Affleck’s sprawling estate of 87 acres. Large security gates were installed at the end of the four-mile road down to Affleck’s sprawling country estate several weeks ago.

On Saturday, a police car sat on the gates while guards busily handed out wrist bands to all comers, their names checked and double-checked against the ‘Master Production’ list.

DailyMail.com has learned that an explosives permit for fireworks display has been quietly secured with Affleck’s plantation style home at its epicenter. Also, wedding bells were set up in advance of the event.

Because of the spectacular fireworks show expected to conclude the evening, it is important that low-flying aircraft like helicopters and drones are not flown within 3 miles radius.

Security boats are patrolling the waterway that runs alongside the property.

Lopez, dressed in her beautiful white gown, welcomed Affleck warmly when he reached the top of the stairs. After a few kisses, hugs and early kisses, Affleck and Lopez headed inside the house to get ready for their big day.

DailyMail.com sources have confirmed that Lopez wanted guests to wear white. The ceremony revealed the color as a theme.

The floral displays that adorned the wedding space were white as well, and guests were seen in snowy shades spilling from the couple’s mansion.

Casey Ben’s brother snubs nuptials

Casey Affleck was seen enjoying a coffee with his family in Los Angeles, even though his brother Ben is about to tie the knot in Georgia. Casey told TMZ that he had ‘other things to do’.

Casey is asked about why he was not at his brother’s wedding. Casey murmures something that sounds almost like he would say, “I have other things,” but then he refused to clarify.

47 year old brother Affleck was comfortable wearing a baggy jean and blue hoodie.

It is unclear why Casey appeared in no rush to make it for his brother’s big day — or to his mother, who was rushed to the hospital from Ben’s Georgia estate yesterday after she reportedly fell off a dock and cut her leg.

It is particularly puzzling that Casey was in LA, as both brothers are known for their closeness and have collaborated on many movies throughout their Hollywood careers.

Despite his appearance in LA on the same day his brother is set to say his vows to Lopez — once again, Page Six previously reported Casey would in fact be attending the wedding.

This wedding is going to be huge and required weeks of preparation.

This comes one month after they were legally married in small Las Vegas ceremonies that were kept private from their family and close friends. The couple will be celebrating the union at a bigger gathering of their loved ones.

Affleck and Lopez will have their second wedding ceremony on Saturday, at Affleck’s gorgeous mansion in Georgia that he first bought for $7.1 million in 2003.

Affleck put up the huge 87-acre Georgia home for sale recently for $8.9million. However, Lopez ultimately chose to stay in the house and hold a lavish wedding.

Built in 2000, the house is an “imitation plantation” mansion in Riceboro Georgia. It overlooks the North Newport River and private Hampton Island.

Lopez will be wearing a Ralph Lauren gown. A white walkway runs from the Big House’s rear veranda down to the water where there is a marquee.

Affleck purchased the property for the first time in 2003. He was said to be hoping to build an altar on the grounds. Lopez split up shortly afterwards in 2004.

Already, the couple have faced unplanned problems with wedding preparations. Affleck’s mother, Christopher Anne Boldt fell from the dock. Affleck was taken to the hospital with an arm injury.

Roswell King was the original owner of Hampton Pastures, an original rice plantation.

Creek Indians and slaves were employed to work the plantation. The property is dated back before the Civil War.

In reality, slaves lived on the same island as the house. A unmarked graveyard for slaves is also located on the property.

One Boy Scouts camp nearby found clay made by Creek Indians.

After filming the 1999 movie ‘Forces of Nature,’ Affleck was allegedly first attracted to the Georgia area.

There are hundreds of wildlife species living in the beautiful natural surroundings of this island, including deer, alligators and wild boars.

Lopez was not satisfied with certain aspects, however, an insider source said. This included the 4 mile loop of potholed roads around Lopez’s property that run from the Big House up to the Farmhouse.

Since the beginning of the year, truckloads made from lime and clay in Georgia have been working together to grade and smoothen all roads.

However, torrential rains have ruined the hard work of the last few weeks. Lopez gave workers today a Friday deadline to fill in any potholes left.

Half a dozen horse-like piebalds were transported by trailers to Hampton Island Preserve on Saturday. Affleck built a $3 million stable for the animals.

If you wish to ride a trail, the staff will be available. Those who prefer their transportation to come with four-wheels will be treated to an ATV tour of the property – an activity that Affleck in particular thought fun as he admitted to one source that he had never actually been on an ATV.

Affleck or Lopez can be accompanied by their guests on the big day if there is no severe weather.

Ben Affleck is set to marry Jennifer Lopez in the Celebrity Wedding of the Year, at the $8.9M Gone With the Wind-style “faux plantation” mansion.

Ben Affleck’s sprawling Georgia estate where he and Jennifer Lopez will be saying ‘I do’ again is built on a former slave-operated plantation, and sits just south of Savannah where Affleck’s ancestors once owned a host of slaves.

Affleck discovered the sad past of his family through 2015 research for Finding Your Roots, a PBS series. The researchers found ample evidence that Benjamin Cole was the great-great-great grandfather of Affleck. He owned between 25 to 31 slaves in a Savannah farm from the 1850s until the Civil War.

Affleck was in trouble when leaked emails revealed that he asked for the cancellation of a segment where he was informed about his family’s slavery-owning past. Instead of focusing on Affleck’s mother’s Civil Rights history, the show agreed. Affleck eventually apologized to the public for this cover-up.

“I did not want any TV show that was about my family to feature a slave-owner. It was embarrassing. The very thought left a bad taste in my mouth,’ he wrote in a Facebook post,  ‘I regret my initial thoughts that the issue of slavery not be included in the story. Our ancestors are not to blame and we don’t deserve credit or blame. The level of interest shown in the story indicates that our nation is still struggling with the horrible legacy of slavery.

A transcript of the segment was cut. Affleck stated that hearing about the past of his family gave him “a sagging feeling.” The host also pointed out how ironic it is that one hundred years after his family owned salves, Affleck’s mother was giving her life to black rights.

Affleck paid $7.1million for the Riceboro property, which was 87 acres in size. It is where slaves used to work back in civil war times.

Roswell King owned the property, which was once home to Hampton Pastures, a rice plantation that was thriving.

Lopez was dating Affleck when Lopez first purchased the estate. This house, which is now the property’s main residence was constructed in 2000 to resemble the home that wealthy slaveowners might have had.

Affleck put Affleck’s sprawling, 87-acre home up for auction for $8.9 Million. However, Lopez ultimately chose to stay in the property and hold a lavish wedding.

Many have expressed concern at Affleck’s choice to marry there, despite the fact that he has learned about the past of his family since buying it.

“When he learned who his ancestors are, he tried to shut it down,” Leslie Harris, the coeditor of Slavery and Freedom In Savannah, told Page Six that he did not learn from his mistakes. It’s the same story with him.

“People continue to build plantation-style houses. It is an indicator of wealth. When there are so many options, it’s not surprising that Affleck chose this location for his wedding. [historic]Plantations no longer have weddings.

They will be married on Saturday. The ceremony, which cost $400,000, was a laborious affair.

Affleck’s final structure is the Oyster House. This massive home competes with Affleck in size and amenities.

It is estimated that the Oyster House, a 10,000-square foot venue for weddings, will be where they take place. The Oyster House has three main suites and five additional bedrooms with bunk beds made from salvaged marine vessels.
