Jeremy Clarkson says goodbye to Diddly Squat Farm as the business closes for two months










After the closure of Diddly Squat Farm for two months, Jeremy Clarkson announced that he was saying goodbye temporarily to Diddly Squat.

It was announced that the shop will close its doors for customers in February and January, leaving fans devastated. No reason was given.

The estate was popular among both locals as well as those further afield. According to The Sun, many people rushed to the farm for New Year’s Eve to avoid its eight week closure.

Ahead of its closure, the Diddy Squat Farm posted a message to customers reading: ‘Thank you to everyone who visited. All the best for the new year. Seize the opportunity to see you in March. Milk machine remains open 24/7.’

A snap of Jeremy was posted to Instagram at the end December, announcing the closure.

It was written: “Diddly Squat Farm shop open 9.30-4pm till 31st December. Closed January & February.’  

Clarkson’s Farm, which is available on Amazon Prime for purchase at a massive price, has caused huge lines on multiple occasions for Diddly Squat Farm Shop. This has led to neighbours becoming concerned at how much traffic it brings in.

According to the shop, it is a “small barn with no-nonsense goods you will love”.

Since the debut of Amazon Prime, fans from across the nation have been waiting for over two hours in line to enter the Diddly Squat shop.

Photos taken in December reveal poor weather, high volumes of vehicles and an overcrowded car park. Hundreds of other cars parked nearby on grassy verges.

Traffic chaos was caused in June by hundreds of Jeremy Clarkson fans descending upon his farm to meet him and check his stock which included honey, chutney, and T-shirts. Police had to respond quickly.

Jeremy bought the parcel of land in 2008, and Clarkson’s Farm is a documentary that follows Clarkson’s experiences on managing a farm of 1,000 acres.

Recent revelations by the host revealed that he’s ‘the most happy he’s ever been’, and that he enjoys every moment of filming his new series.

On its website, His Diddly Squat Shop is described as an “small barn filled with good and no-nonsense items”.

Amazon Prime follows the story of Britain’s least-known farmer, with his family, through a year filled with hilarious and sometimes difficult challenges.
