It was announced today that Comedian Jethro, who is well-known for his West Country take on life, has passed away after fighting Covid.
Geoffrey Rowe (73), was the comedian who died on Tuesday from the virus.
His management released the following statement: “It is with great sadness that I announce the death of the popular Cornish comedian Jethro.”
After contracting COVID-19, ‘Tragically Jethro’ died on December 14, 2021.

After battling Covid, comedian Jethro, who is known for his West Country take on life, has passed away.

Jethro, Jennie, Jesse and Lanyon’s sons, Sarah, and stepdaughter Stacey are all left behind.
“We request that you protect our privacy during this sad time, and allow us to grieve as best we can.
“We will keep supporting each other knowing that life will not be the same without him.”
His popularity in Cornwall and Devon grew through the 1980s. He made his first television appearance in 1990, on The Des O’Connor Show.
Jim Davidson had him appear on several of his programmes.
