Kate Garraway questioned whether Prince Harry and Meghan Markle had released their Christmas card, which featured their first publicly visible photo of Lilibet as a way to ‘usurp her Queen’.

Tonight, the 54-year-old TV host will appear in Royal Carols: Together at Christmas. This event was organized by Kate Middleton. Today, she discussed the card with Good Morning Britain, and asked why it was published on the same day that Her Majesty’s.

Family image depicts Meghan, 41, holding their daughter while Harry, 37, smiles and wraps his arms around Archie. The portrait was taken by Alexi Lubomirski. He also took the family portraits for the couple’s wedding day.

Archie is dressed casually, much like his dad, in jeans. His face is exposed. Harry and Meghan decided to stop sharing photographs of Archie with their faces after his first birthday and instead only shared photos from the back.

Richard Bacon shared his thoughts on the timing of card release. The Queen was releasing images and photographs from her Christmas speech. Richard Bacon co-host said, ‘They released our card half an hours before Buckingham Palace did.

Kate then asked Richard: “So there’s a suggestion Richard that they sort of did that in order to somehow usurp her Queen?”

The Sussexes, who are currently residing in a $14.7million mansion in Montecito, released the card (pictured) to announce they've made a donation to several charities, including an organisation that supports Afghan families left behind after the US withdrawal and Paid Leave For All

They currently reside in Montecito’s $14.7million home. The Sussexes released their card to let the world know that they have donated to multiple charities. One charity supports Afghan families who were left behind by the US withdrawal.

They are now living in Montecito’s $14.7 million mansion. The Sussexes released their card to let everyone know they have donated to several charities. This is in keeping with Duchess of Cambridge’s recent push for an all-American paid family leave law.

Richard responded, “It seems absurd to me but it is evidently the suggestion.”

“I believe that you should live along the west coast. [in America]You’re not quite sure when it’s over there.

Kate then asked Chris Ship from ITV News Royal Editor Chris Ship his thoughts on the card.

It had to be published. The Queen’s image was posted at 10:30pm. That Harry and Meghan photo arrived in my inbox around two o’clock yesterday.

“I disagree that it was done in order to usurp Queen Elizabeth, but no.

Iain Dale (political commentator) said that the picture was beautiful. Why do we have to analyze these things so much?

“I don’t think they would have known when Buckingham Palace would release another one.”

Harry, Meghan and Archie are all wearing denim jeans in a casual look. The Duchess is wearing a navy jumper with hers, while Archie has a white top and his blue shirt. While wearing white, the couple’s daughter laughs.

For the Duchess of Cambridge, who loves designer clothing and expensive personalized jewellery, this look was casual.

Today’s card represents a shift for the Duke & Duchess Sussex who previously hid their children in photographs.

Archie is rarely seen since March 2013, when the couple returned as senior royals. The most recent photo of Archie was released for his 2nd birthday in May, showing him facing the camera.

He was present during the Oprah Winfrey interview as well as Prince Harry’s mental-health documentary. However, royal fans could only see his face.

This is the Queen’s Christmas Speech

In tomorrow’s Christmas Day message, the Queen will send a heartfelt tribute to her beloved Prince Philip. She will do this while sporting the sapphire brooch which she used on her honeymoon in 1947 as well as for her diamond wedding anniversary in 2009.

She is addressing the nation for her first holiday season since her divorce from her husband of 73 year.

Buckingham Palace announced also that the Duke of Edinburgh’s funeral will be commemorated at Westminster Abbey this spring.

Sources claim that Harry and Meghan expected to attend the service along with other members of the Royal Family. Many view it as an excellent way to “break the Ice” between Harry and Meghan after their bitter exit from the UK.

The Sussexes published the first picture of Lilibet, their newborn daughter yesterday.

Buckingham Palace issued another moving photo of Queen Elizabeth sitting at her desk while she was preparing for her Christmas speech, which she also recorded last week.

The Queen has had a lifelong passion for sapphires, thanks to her ‘beloved Papa’, who noticed the cornflower blue gemstones – said to signify love, purity and wisdom – matched the colour of his daughter’s eyes.

The first time Lilibet has been seen by royals is this also. After a frame of Prince Harry and a newborn child taking pride of place at her desk during a video celebrating her 40th, Meghan may have shown a grainy photo of her first child.

A connected frame could contain three more black-and-white photos. The central photo appears to depict Harry kissing his baby, while the one on the right may show Meghan holding her young child.

Alexi Lubomirski (the photographer behind the Sussexes’ Christmas card) took to Instagram today and shared his work.

In the caption, he wrote: “The Duke and Duchess Of Sussex, Archie, and Lilibet. It is one of those special and rare projects that you are privileged enough to have a hand in.

“To continue the story with this family, whom I photographed first as an engaged couple, and then as a married couple. Now, seeing their love blossom into their two wonderful children has been a delight.”

“Anyone who’s seen my #allloveseries will see that I get the most joy from photography when they are able to capture love in any form.

One of the greatest gifts that a photographer can give is to be trusted enough by his subjects, to allow them to share their feelings and let it all flow into images.

“This was a joyous day, one I felt extremely fortunate to be invited to photograph. X’

Lilibet Diana Montbatten-Windsor is the second child of the Duke and Duchess Sussex. She was born in Santa Barbara at Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital on June 4, and is the eighth line to the throne.

Her middle name Diana, which was a tribute to Harry’s mother, was chosen as her nickname. The baby weighed in at 7 lbs 11 oz.

Lilibet’s birth photos were not released, but Archie did.

Harry and Meghan gave to charity ‘on behalf of’ charities such as Paid Leave for All (a US national campaign that fights for paid family and medical leaves for all workers).

Meghan has been on parental leave for most of the time since June’s birth. She has been lobbying US Congress for paid family leave legislation for all Americans.

Meghan addressed US senators Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer, in October asking them for parental leave. The letter stated: “I am not an elected official. I’m also not a politician. This is a very important moment in my life, and I want to help you advocate for paid parental leave.

It was 1,030-words long and asked two Democratic leaders for their consideration.
