Kyle Rittenhouse stated that he supported Black Lives Matter and said his case was not related to race. Protests are ongoing over Rittenhouse’s acquittal at Kenosha in Wisconsin, and other places.
“This case is not about race. Rittenhouse stated that it had nothing to to do with race and had to do about the right of self-defense in an interview that was filmed Sunday.
“I am not racist, but I support the BLM Movement and peacefully protesting,” the teenager said in an excerpt of the interview that will air Monday night.
The protests over not-guilty continued throughout the country, with demonstrations even taking place in Kenosha where marchers denounced its outcome as racist.
A partial transcript of Rittenhouse’s interview was provided to DailyMail.com. Rittenhouse also criticized the prosecution for his case after a jury decided that he acted in justified self-defense and acquitted him of all charges.
Rittenhouse said, “I think there’s lots of prosecutorial misconduct. Not just in mine but also in other cases.” It is incredible to see the extent that a prosecutor can profit from someone.

Rittenhouse was a witness to the fact that he used self-defense and killed two of his accomplices in the confrontations between anti-police protestors in Kenosha in August.
This case is polarizing the country, with angry accusations from the left that Rittenhouse, the acquittal and Rittenhouse are racist. However, Rittenhouse was all-white, as were the victims.
Tucker Carlson filmed Rittenhouse’s interview with the teen on Sunday, Boca Grande Island. Rittenhouse was also seen enjoying brunch there on Sunday afternoon.

On Sunday, protests against the verdict were continuing in Kenosha. Around 150 people marched in Civic Center Park in front of the Kenosha courthouse.
Fox Nation will air an investigative series next month on the case in addition to Monday’s interview.
Mark Richards (Trial Attorney for Rittenhouse) stated that Rittenhouse was not happy with the Fox crew embedding Rittenhouse’s team. He also suggested that access to Rittenhouse was made possible by donations.
Fox News’ executive stated that Rittenhouse was never paid for access to Rittenhouse’s loved ones during Rittenhouse’s trial and after his acquittal.
Justin Wells is the senior executive producer for Tucker Carlson Tonight. He told the AP there was no payment made for footage rights or legal fees.
David Hancock, the Rittenhouse family’s spokesperson, said that any possible Fox payment ‘was not offered, it wasn’t asked for, and was never discussed’
He stated that the film’s purpose is to document Rittenhouse’s trial experience and show the world who he is.
Protests over the verdict continued on Sunday in Kenosha, where a group of around 150 people gathered in the Civic Center Park outside the courthouse where Rittenhouse was cleared to protest the verdict.

New York: Approximately 200 people march on Flatbush Avenue in protest of Rittenhouse’s arrest.
Before marching eight blocks around the city, speakers warned against an economic boycott in order to force social reform.
Eric Jordan and Jade, 16, walked along with marchers wearing assault-style rifles. Jordan said that he was an open-carry Second Amendment-type person. Jordan said, “I only carry oranges.”
“Everybody knows I can’t travel anywhere without my camera.”
Protestors carrying signs such as ‘Self Defense Is Not a Deliberate Headshot,’ ‘The Whole System is Guilty,’ and ‘F**k Kyle N His Freedom.’
They shouted “No Justice, No Peace” and “Say Their Names, Anthony and Jo Jo,” referring to Anthony Huber, and Joseph Rosebaum, who were killed by Rittenhouse in protest against the shooting of police officers in the village in August 2020.
The Rev. Jesse Jackson had been due to march, but he did not make it.
He was replaced by Bishop Tavis Grant who was the national field director for Jackson’s Rainbow PUSH Coalition. Grant stated that Jackson had been talking with Congressional leaders regarding the possibility of Rittenhouse being charged federally.
While the demonstrations in Kenosha remain peaceful thus far, in New York five protestors were charged with riot after storming a residential neighborhood and damaging cars.

Thursday night saw a vanguard of 40-50 ‘anarchists’ storm the peaceful residential area of Middle Village.

Queens’ middle class neighborhood is conservatively-leaning, sympathetic to police officers and a prime target for ultra-leftist mobs venting their fury at Rittenhouse’s acquittal.
In a visit to Middle Village on Saturday afternoon, Mayor-elect Eric Adams slammed the destructive behavior, saying that randomly targeting private citizens over political grievances is unacceptable.
Portland police also called a riot Friday night. One was arrested after protestors broke into businesses windows and damaged a precinct and a car.

Rittenhouse was described by his lawyers as a scared teenage boy who set fire to save himself. To emphasize this point, Rittenhouse was taken to the witness stand.
Rittenhouse said, “I did not intend to kill them.” I intended to end the attacks on me.
