The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have released a new picture of Lilibet on her first birthday at Frogmore Cottage during the Platinum Jubilee.

Harry and Meghan hosted a ‘relaxed’ garden party on Saturday for little Lilibet, one, in the Windsor estate with birthday cake, balloons, party games and picnic snacks, it is understood.

She is seen on her birthday in an official photograph with reddish locks, smiling and dressed in a pale blue frock with a white bow in her hair.

This Lilibet picture is her second official one after she was photographed by the Duke & Duchess Sussex on December 23.

Prince Harry’s reddish blonde locks were a common feature when he was still a child, just like how his daughter is now.

Misan Harriman (photographer and friend to the couple) took the Lilibet photograph.

Zara Tindall and Mike Tindall have three children: Mia, Lena and Lucas. Savannah and Isla are the daughters of Peter Phillips, Autumn Kelly.

Archie Van Straubenzee was three years old and Tom Van Straubenzee was his brother, who is godfather to Princess Charlotte.

According to some reports, the Queen also met her nameake during the Platinum Jubilee celebrations on Thursday and Friday.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle left the Platinum Jubilee early – missing the Pageant and the Queen on the balcony yesterday – as they flew back in a private jet to California with luggage that appeared to include a wooden swing set which looked similar to the one gifted to William and Kate by Prince Charles.

The California couple released the photograph hours after the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge put pictures on social media showing hidden moments from the Jubilee including new pictures of Louis with his father, William, and Kate and the children including Princess Charlotte and Prince George waiting in a doorway.

Twitter commentator Omid Scobie, a friend of the Sussexes, said that the couple invited their close friends and families to an “intimate backyard picnic” as he uploaded the photo.

And was told by a spokesperson for the couple that they ‘remain incredibly touched by the countless birthday wishes for their daughter’ and have also been ‘amazed’ to learn that $100K (£79,000) was donated in Lilibet’s honour.

According to the spokesperson, the funds were transferred to World Central Kitchen which is a non-profit organization that was partnered with Archewell Foundation.

According to the spokesperson, Uvalde in Texas, and Ukraine have received support from this organisation.

An spokesperson for the couple didn’t name any relatives who were present at the event.

According to a source, The Sun spoke with a source about the event, saying that it was “a wonderful do” and contained everything one would expect at a birthday party for children.

“The intention was that it be casually relaxed with everyone being able to move around as they please.”

The royals said it was a great opportunity to have Lilibet meet some of their children, as this was her first trip in the UK.

They added that ‘lots of discussion’ had been had about the best gifts for the ‘milestone’ birthday, with a ‘£75 pink Volkswagen Beetle ride-on toy’ proving a popular idea.

While it’s not known if Prince Charles, the Duke of Cambridge and Duchess Of Cambridge were able attend Lilbet’s Birthday in Windsor, it’s rumored that they weren’t.

However, the Queen, Prince Charles and Camilla, Kate Middleton and Prince William shared their greetings on social media at the exact same time.

Official Twitter account of the Queen wrote: “Wishing Lilibet very happy 1st birthday!”‘,  the  account for Prince Charles shared an almost identical message.

A message was posted by the Prince and Duchess Of Cornwall on social media. It read, “Wishing Lilibet an extremely happy birthday today” with a cake emoticon.

Also, it is very possible that Prince Charles has met his grandchildren. He and Camilla may have met Harry and Meghan in private.

It comes after George Northwood, the Duchess’ hairdresser, who recently jetted out to the Netherlands to do Meghan’s beauty while she attended the Invictus Games with husband, shared a post on Instagram with several images of the Duchess.

He wrote: “So wonderful and nostalgic to be reunited Harry and Meghan and their families in the UK. Archie has become the sweetest and most well-mannered little boy, Lilibet is absolutely beautiful.

It comes after Harry and Meghan’s entourage were seen with a blue child-size scooter and wooden swing set which looked similar to the one gifted to William and Kate by Prince Charles.

After they had left the Platinum Jubilee, before the celebrations ended on Sunday, it appears that the Duchess and Duke of Sussex have been returned with gifts from their families.

One of their members was carrying a swing made of wood with rope and wrapped in blue as Harry and Meghan loaded their baggage from Santa Barbara Airport.

Another assistant was seen reaching for a blue scooter that was sitting on top of a suitcase to put it into an SUV which further indicated that Lilibet and Archie, who were not seen during the Jubilee, accompanied their parents.

The Queen was reported to have met her father for the first-time as the Sussexes joined Her Majesty’s party on Thursday or Friday. Lilibet was invited to Frogmore Cottage’s first birthday celebration.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex visited Her Majesty’s 70-year reign to celebrate it. They were only seen once at the Trooping of the Colour, and again at St Paul’s Thanksgiving Service. However, they did not play any official roles during the celebrations.

Harry and Meghan Celebrate the Platinum Jubilee

WEDNESDAY

They land on private aircraft in Britain as the Sussexes. Three of the Queen’s own security officers, her Land Rover royale and a bulletproof VW people carrier were sent by her to meet her family at Farnborough Airport. They then took them to Frogmore Cottage.

THURSDAY

With a minimal escort, a Range Rover dragged them to Central London. They then reached Whitehall where they set up shop in the Major General’s Office. This office overlooks the parade ground and was ready for other royals.

They were greeted by Princess Beatrice, her husband Edo and Peter Phillips, the grandson of the queen.

Meghan kissed Savannah, his older daughter, 11-year-old daughter. Isla (10 year old) was holding Zara Tindall’s almost 4-year-old daughter Lena (almost four).

Meghan was wearing a navy and white wide-brimmed hat with a white crown. She hid her finger secretly from the girls as they mimicked her actions, laughing.

Prince Harry, her husband of 37 years, looked more tanned than in his military uniform and was seen entering the fray later, apparently asking Lena to “shush”.

They were later seen talking with the Queen’s cousin the Duke of Kent. After he left the family gathering, he went to Buckingham Palace to rejoin the monarch, taking the military salute.

FRIDAY

They went to St Paul’s Cathedral in the morning for the celebration of the Queen.

After the Earl and Countess and their children and after Princesses Beatrice, Eugenie, and their husbands, they arrived in England.

Harry and Meghan were holding hands, and smiling wide as they made their way up the stairs of the cathedral. The crowd cheered and bashed them.

He and Kate, the Duke of Cambridge, sat in the first row with Prince Charles and Camilla. They were representing Queen Elizabeth at the Service of Thanksgiving.

Harry and Meghan were however placed halfway down the second row, on opposite sides of the aisle.

As William (39) and Kate (44) were at the party, there was little chance that the siblings, once so close, could talk.

The couple arrived just after Harry, 39, and Meghan (40) were seated. They then left to go to a Guildhall reception.

Notably, only the California-based Sussexes were present at the second event.

SATURDAY

Instead of attending the concert at Buckingham Palace, Harry and Meghan celebrated their daughter Lilibet’s first birthday in Windsor on Saturday with a ‘relaxed’ birthday party —with royal second cousins invited to the festivities.

Zara Tindall and Mike Tindall invited their three children Mia (8, Lena (3, and Lucas (1), as well Savannah (11, Savannah (10, and Isla (10), daughters of Peter Phillips, Autumn Kelly).

It was also reported that Queen Elizabeth II had invited her, but she is believed to have met her great grand-daughter first on Thursday or Friday.

SUNDAY

According to reports, the Duke and Duchess and their children flew from Farnborough Airport yesterday at 1.30pm. This was an hour before the Jubilee Pageant started.

According to California couple, the two were driven away from Frogmore Cottage, Windsor where they had been staying at lunchtime.

The plane landed in America at approximately 5:05 PM, LA time.

Prince George, the Duchess and Duke of Cambridge’s child, was photographed enjoying a swing set made from wood that bears his parents’ names William (and Catherine) in 2016.

The couple received the wooden roped set as a wedding present. It was then installed at their Norfolk country home.

In pictures taken on Sunday of Harry and Meghan’s luggage being unloaded as they landed back in California yesterday, an assistant was also seen carrying a wooden swing after the couple spent most of their time at their Windsor residence.

Harry looked particularly sad as they arrived back in California yesterday. Experts say Harry appeared anxious, angry and uncomfortable while he and his wife were taking ‘fleeting glances’ at them during their visit to the UK.

On Thursday, they were moved to the Major General’s Office together with minor royals in the Trooping the Colour. Here they were photographed shushing young children.

According to it, the Duchess and Duke of Sussex were reportedly’really fedup’ with being ignored by the palace’s men in suits. This is what has been claimed.

They were met with boos at Friday’s St Paul’s public appearance. One critic stated that this is because the British believe being royals are ‘about serving, not about themselves’.

Harry stopped for a chat with the Archbishop at York, but did not greet his brother Prince William nor his sister in law Kate.

MailOnline was told by another: “Their attitude seems like if we aren’t centre stage, we don’t really need to be here.”

They spent their time at Frogmore Cottage instead with their kids and held a relaxed party at Windsor for Lilibet’s 1st birthday. It was believed that the British cousins of the little girl were there.

At 6 pm on Sunday, the Sussexes returned to California. The plane’s equipment, including a high chair, was being unloaded. Harry, who was sitting in the back of the Range Rover black that arrived to take the family home from California, looked serious and serious.

While the Duchess and Duke were not able to attend the Platinum Party, they reportedly stayed at Windsor with the Queen and watched the concert together.

According to The Sun Harry and Meghan drove to Farnborough Airport at 1:30pm. This was an hour before Pageant began at 2:30pm. They then made their way to California.

The Queen, who was said to be ‘determined’ and able to conquer her mobility issues by acclimating to the world around her, arrived at Buckingham Palace just hours earlier to personally express gratitude to the thousands of people who turned out to offer their thanks.

The monarchy’s three great-grandchildren, Prince William and Prince Charles (son, Prince Charles), were flanking her.

Members of the Royal Family enjoyed an entertaining afternoon at The Platinum Jubilee Pageant, where they all shared a table with their cousins and siblings.

With a carnival-like parade, the parade told her story and that of the country.

According to an insider, there wasn’t any fanfare. They just moved. The Platinum Jubilee pageant, which celebrates Britain’s quirks over her 70-year reign, was not attended by them.

A spokesman for the aide said to The Telegraph that although they might be prominent in media coverage, it was unlikely that they would play a significant role. The line is drawn.

After finding the first day of work enjoyable, but exhausting, the 96-year old monarch was not present for the Bank Holiday Weekend. She thanked her but also said that she had been thinking of well-wishers.

She was welcomed by the entire family including Prince Charles and Camilla. George, Charlotte, Louis and George were all there to cheer her on after she stepped onto the balcony. The Platinum Pageant told the story about her life and nation through a fun, imaginative and carnival-like spectacle.

She smiled as she acknowledged all the people watching and looked up at The Mall, where thousands of people had waited to see her.

It was impossible to watch the couple leave their plane as it taxied into a hangar.

In her final message, Queen Elizabeth II stated that “When it comes down to seventy year as your Queen,” there are no guidelines. This is truly a first. It is a first, but I am humbled by the number of people who have come out to celebrate my Platinum Jubilee.

“While I might not have been able to attend every event, I felt your heart and was there for you. My family is here to support me.

“I was inspired by the kindnesses, joys, and kinship displayed in recent days. This renewed sense of belonging will continue to be felt over many years.

“I want to thank everyone for their kind wishes and the role they played in this happy occasion.

Her Paddington appearance was welcomed by the Queen as well.

According to a palace assistant, the Sun was told by her: “As you can see she loves to surprise a few people.”

Following the outpourings of affection at her balcony appearance, Queen Elizabeth said that she was humbled and deeply moved by the participation of so many in her 70-year reign.

Tom Bower (an investigative journalist working on Meghan’s biography) told MailOnline that they had been “trounced” on the Sussexes’ return to the UK.

He stated that he believed Palace officials were exceptionally skilled in managing the Sussexes. The Queen was pleased with the amount of exposure, but it is also too little to let them know that their efforts have been ignored. Harry’s sad expression revealed and reinforced the difficulties he is now facing. Meghan now has to worry about her status. Netflix has a problem. The Sussexes have become stars.

Angela Levin (Harry’s biographer) said they were kept away from Prince Charles & Prince William due their ongoing rift. She also feared that any private conversations would end up on Harry’s books or on a US chat channel.

“I wonder if they are here,” she said. [Harry and Meghan]Decided: “We have had enough, let’s get early.” They were probably furious. They believed that they would return and be welcomed back with open arms. But the truth is, the world and the Royal Family have moved on without them. But they were wrong.

She continued: “When Harry arrived in St Paul’s, his face was growling.” The growling face was present all the time. It was really exhausting for them. Charles and William are now closer to one another – it has closed the gap Harry had left. That must have been hard for Harry. His father and brother will likely have worried that he would speak to them in private, in the event it is published in his memoirs.

MailOnline was told by Phil Dampier (royal author): “Their attitude seems if we aren’t centre stage, we don’t really wish to be here.”

“They should realize they are not as popular as before, and that flying by private plane isn’t helping their green credentials.

Charles and William are not likely to trust Harry, who is busy writing a book. They are worried that their deep conversations might be exposed in the media.

Following some moans at St Paul’s from the Sussexes on Friday night, Richard Fitzwilliams commented: “This was about The Queen and Future of the Monarchy. They opted out as Senior Working Royals. They owe the entire institution their profile and all contracts. These four amazing days demonstrated how strong the institution is. They also showed how wrongly they did the Oprah interview, which led to it losing support from the youth and minorities. It aired while Prince Philip was sick.

“The Sussexes have been taught a valuable lesson in the past few days.” If you want to capture hearts and minds, it’s about service.
