Lilly Pulitzer is offering VIP birthing suites for Florida moms who are looking to deliver their babies in style, but the designer décor and swag bag costs will cost you $750 per night.

The iconic resort wear brand has teamed up with the Good Samaritan Medical Center in Palm Beach, Florida — the same hospital where the late Pulitzer’s own granddaughter was born — to create the two stylish suites and a family waiting room.

Moms of expecting mothers will be able to enjoy Lilly Pulitzer’s printed bedding and window treatments, stunning waterfront views and hand-painted murals in labor for as low as a night in a luxury hotel.

Pulitzer’s brand, eponymous, is well-known for the colorful prints and preppy style that it embodies. It was founded in Palm Beach. The socialite-turned-designer launched her business by accident in the late 1950s when she opened a juice stand.

The seamstress made her textile-print tropical-print gowns that would protect juice staining. However, her designs soon sold out.

“I created collections around what I liked. . . fruit, vegetables or politics! My business knowledge was lacking when I joined. The experience was a major change for me. However, it brought happiness to others,” the designer shared with The Associated Press in 2009.

Pulitzer’s resort wear was very popular among the nation’s elite, like the Vanderbilts, Rockefellers and Whitneys.

Then-first lady Jacqueline Kennedy, who attended boarding school with Pulitzer, famously wore one of her printed shit dresses in Live magazine photo spread.

Pulitzer shut down her business in 1980s, but it was resurrected a decade later, when Sugartown Worldwide, Inc. purchased the rights to the brand.

Oxford Industries, Inc. now owns the label, having acquired Sugartown Worldwide, Inc. back in 2010.

Pulitzer, who was 81 years old when she died in Palm Beach at home, left a legacy that continues to be carried on by the Queen of Prep.
