Magnum, P.I. His daughter, Magnum, announced that Roger E. Mosley, actor and director of the film Magnum, has passed away at the age 83.
His daughter Ch-a said that the actor, who was born in Los Angeles, died three days ago at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center after suffering injuries from an automobile accident in Lynwood.
On Facebook, she announced her sad news, saying, “Roger E. Mosley,” adding, “Roger E. Mosley was my father. He was your friend. Your “coach Mosley” and “TC” from Magnum P.I.. He died at 1:07 AM.

Mosley played Theodore TC Calvin, a character he played on the series. The show aired 158 episodes. Calvin’s character was the founder of Island Hoppers, a helicopter-based business. His previous work on Terminal Island was with Selleck. He recommended him to the role.

Mosley said his agent told him, ‘It’s starring this guy Tom Selleck. Tom Selleck has made about five pilot shows … and none of them have sold. According to him, his character originally was written to have to manage a struggling company. But he refused to do that because he doesn’t want to be the only Black person to live in Hawaii.
