The 14-year sentence for a rapist that held a woman captive at knifepoint after stalking her in London Tube stations has come to an end.
Bodor Ahmed, 27 years old, followed his victim on her way from Canning Town Underground Station to the end of July last year.
Ahmed took a knife from the 29-year old woman and forced her into a house where she was raped.
Ahmed was not aware that a member the public saw him threaten the woman in front of the building. He called the police.

Bodor Ahmed, 27, was jailed for 14 years after he pleaded guilty to rape, threatening a person with a knife and sexual assault

Ahmed followed the woman home from Canning Town Underground Station (pictured), and grabbed her when she got to a quiet street.
The victim was found in a ‘extremely distress’ condition by officers who arrived on the scene and arranged specialist treatment.
Ahmed attempted to escape through underground parking garages, but officers quickly arrested him and found a large knife nearby.
Ahmed from Poplar in east London admitted to rape and threatened a person using a knife. He also committed sexual assault at Snaresbrook crown court.
His sentence was for fourteen years.
Robert Burkin (detective constable) was the one who assisted in the investigation. He said, ‘Ahmed’s actions were completely appalling. To his selfish pleasure, he used a knife to arm himself and attack a woman defenseless.

Ahmed, who pleaded guilty in September to all charges, appeared today at Snaresbrook Crown court for sentencing
“I’d like to laud the victim for the courage and integrity that she displayed throughout the investigation.
“This was a terrible ordeal. I’m glad that she has this sentence to give her closure.
“I also want to express my gratitude for the person who called the police after seeing the distressed woman. Officers were able to quickly respond and immediately arrest Ahmed.
