Oliver stated, “On New Years Eve 2019, I decided that I would get the scales out. This is something that I don’t usually do. I believed I was 22 stones, but I felt disgusted when it turned around to 26.

‘I’ve been a big boy my whole life. I used to be teased in school by my classmates about it, but it never got to me.

“I always wanted to have children and I realized after I had weighed myself that this was probably impossible if the weight kept going up.

“At that moment, I felt heavy and worried about heart attacks and diabetes.

Oliver spent £280 per month on snacks such as cookies, Monster energy drinks and large bags of crisps.

Oliver, pictured left and right (his weight loss), began by gradually reducing his calories and running. He also joined a gym and spoke with nutritionists that he discovered on social media.

'It got to a point where I just wasn't seeing any progress anymore, so I ended up finding help from a nutritionist on Instagram called Tom Foreman (pictured together) and Aston Worsfold who do online coaching,' Oliver said

Oliver shared that he was frustrated by the lack of progress. He found help online from Tom Foreman, an Instagram nutritionist (pictured together), and Aston Worsfold, who offer coaching.

He said: ‘I’d be spending £70 on snacks and junk food alone each week. Morrisons would offer me a meal deal and I could add things like six packs of sausage rolls to it. This I would eat even before going back to work.

“I could eat a healthy dinner but would go to the shop afterward and pick up a bag of crisps, three chocolate bars and a shared bag. It was clear that I had to stop snacking and lose weight.

Oliver began his journey to weight loss by gradually reducing his calories and running. He also joined a gym regularly, as well as speaking with nutritionists that he discovered on social media.

His words were: “I lost weight quickly and was able to lose seven or more pounds per week. The weight loss was most likely due to water weight. I noticed that my progress began to slow down.
