Benjamin Mendy, Manchester City’s star footballer has been accused of seventh-degree rape by a new victim.
A total of seven rapes, and one assault sexually committed by the 27-year-old defense lawyer are now being charged.
These charges relate to five individuals over 16 years of age and were allegedly committed between August 2020 and August 2021.
Co-defendant Louis Saha Matturie, 40 – described as Mendy’s ‘runner’ at a previous hearing – is charged with six counts of rape and one of sexual assault.
He is charged with four people over 16 years of age. They are said to have occurred between March 2021 to August 2021.

Mendy’s fellow-accused, Louis Saha Matturie of Eccles (Greater Manchester), 40 has been arrested with two more counts of rape along with one count sexual assault.
Mendy and Matturie will be tried next January 24th, 2019. But Judge Patrick Thompson stated that this date was ‘impossible’.
After being accused of four counts each for rape or sexual assault in August 26th, this French-born international was taken into custody by HMP Altcourse in Liverpool.
All of the offences were alleged to be committed at his Cheshire residence.
The accused is being charged with three rapes of a woman in October 2012.
He is accused of raping a second victim while on August police bail.
A sexual assault was also alleged against the footballer in January 2021.
Mendy of Prestbury was also charged with two additional counts of rape last month.

These offences are alleged to have occurred in Macclesfield and Cheshire on August 23rd and 24th, respectively.
Christopher Stables was his attorney at the previous hearing and stated that he strongly denied these allegations.
Premier League champions City spent a reported £49.2million signing Mendy from French side Monaco in 2017.
He earns £90,000 a week and lives in a £5million mansion in Prestbury, an upmarket village near Manchester popular with fellow players.
He was part the winning France World Cup squad of 2018, but did no play in final. After signing from Monaco in 2017, he made 75 appearances with Man City.
Mendy participated in Man City’s games against Leicester City (Turkey Hotspur) and Tottenham Hotspur, but was left on the bench when they played against Norwich City.
He was then charged with the next game against Arsenal.
Pep Guardiola of City revealed Mendy’s injury last September.
After he was arrested, the City suspended his left-back.
The club released a statement saying that Benjamin Mendy was suspended while an investigation is conducted.
“The matter is currently under legal review and club members are unable to comment on it until this process has been completed.”
