A man in his 20s is killed after falling off an apartment block at Liverpool. Police open investigation into “unexplained” death

  • An apartment building in Liverpool has caused the death of a young man in his 20s.
  • Paramedics and police arrived on the scene in the early hours of New Year’s Day. 
  • Officers have begun looking for the next of kin. 










An elderly man died in the early hours of New Year’s Day after falling from an apartment in Liverpool.

The man died shortly after 9.20am when an air ambulance arrived on the scene. 

Merseyside police are working to identify a next-of-kin. They have said that his death will be treated as “unexplained”. 

A man in his 20s has died after falling from an apartment building in Liverpool earlier today

After falling from an apartment block in Liverpool, a man in his 20s died.

Paramedics and police were called to Fox Street, Everton near the L3 Living @ Fox Street Studios apartments, with forensic officers also present.

An area police cordon was established near the apartments.  

The force spokesperson said that emergency services responded to a call about a fallen man from his apartments and were on Fox Street in Liverpool Saturday (1/1/2019).

The North West Ambulance Service reported that around 9.20 AM, a male in his 20s was injured and had called them.

Merseyside Police is working on identifying a next of kin and has said his death is being treated as 'unexplained'. A police cordon was set up near the apartments

Merseyside Police are currently trying to find a next of family member and have stated that the death was being considered ‘unexplained. Near the apartment was a police perimeter.

He was later pronounced deceased on the scene.

Officers are currently trying to determine his next-of-kin.
