The father of Mason Greenwood’s girlfriend has said police took a statement from her after she shared horrific videos of injuries she claims the footballer inflicted.
Alan Robson said his daughter Harriet was ‘completely devastated’ after posting gory images showing cuts and bruises she said the England striker, 20, caused.
He said he was also gutted because the Manchester United star ‘has been part of our family for two or three years’.
Two officers were seen today at Ms Robson’s Stockport family home, Greater Manchester.
After posting videos to Instagram showing a large cut on her lips and bruises on her hips, she got the idea for it.
A voice recording of the model arguing last year with a man was shared by her. The man threatened to assault her.
Manchester United claimed it was aware and would comment only after ‘the facts’ were established. Police said that they are investigating the claims.
Greenwood’s sponsor, Nike, said that the company was “deeply concerned” by the allegations.
Atheletes like Adam Gemili, a sprinter, and politicians including Caroline Nokes criticised the footballer.
Harriet Robson shared a number of graphic images that showed the horrific injuries and cuts she claimed England’s striker caused. One photo showed the WAG bleeding from her nose and mouth.
Other photos showed her covered in purple spots on her hips, arms and legs. One even included a photo of her crying.
Harriet Greenwood and Harwoodet hail from Wisbey in Bradford. They’ve known one another since they were both at Ashton on Mersey School.

After Mason Greenwood shared videos that showed the horrific injuries he has inflicted, Mason Greenwood’s girlfriend called police and they visited her home.
Stockport police sent two officers to the scene after Harriet Robson had posted graphic images of the injuries and cuts that she claimed the England striker caused.

MailOnline was informed by Mr Robson that he first learned about the situation at 6 AM this morning. It’s terrible. This is what I am trying to come to terms with.
“As a father, you do not want things like this happening to your child. She has given a statement to the police, who have come round.
“She told us that her phone was hacked. She told us to get it off her phone. But it’s too late now.
She is distraught because she refused to have it published. He has been with us since we were under 21. Since the under 21s, he has been a part of our family for about two to three years.
“Their relationship was not good over the past few months. It all has left her devastated.
They were very in love, and they have been married for some time. It is being investigated by the police.
Ms Robson posted images and video to Instagram to show the abuse she says she endured.
Her first video showed blood running down her chest and chin from an extensive cut on her top lip.
She wrote, “To anyone who wishes to know what Mason Greenwood does to my life.”
This was then followed by an image showing her right knee covered with bruises, as she sat on the sofa.
In the next photo, her eyes were filled with tears. There was also what seemed to be an invisible mark behind her ceiling.
The third photo was taken of her hip, with what appeared to be a purple bruise spreading across it.
Manchester United said today it had been made aware of these images and claims, but that no comment would be made until the facts were established.

A Snapchat photo she took from Stockport, Greater Manchester also was shared by her, showing bruises on her left arm.
Another mark was seen on her right arm, and the shoulder in a final picture.
Ms Robson shared then a voice note about what sounds like a fight between a man, dated October 22.
“Harriet, move your legs upwards,” said the man. Move your f***ing legs up.’ She says: ‘No, I don’t want to have sex.’
He says: ‘I don’t give a f*** what you want you little s***.’ He tries to get her off the line, but she says “shut up”.
He says, “Talk to me.” Ms Robson says: ‘Stop putting your d*** near me. You don’t deserve sex.
He says: ‘I don’t care if you want to have f***ing sex with me. Do you hear me?’ “Do you hear me?” She asks.
He said, “Because it was politely asked and you refused to do it.” You didn’t respond politely to my request. Is there anything else you would like me to do?
He continues, “Push me one more time and see what happens.” He responds: “No.” She responds: “No.” Get the f*** off me.’
On October 22, Ms Robson shared an audio note that sounded almost like an argument between a woman and a male.
After it was revealed that Greenwood had an affair with an Icelandic woman, the pair split. He was kicked out from England’s football team in 2020.
The pair separated after it emerged Greenwood had a tryst with an Icelandic model that saw him kicked out of the England football squad in 2020.
However, they were reunited eighteen months later in November 2015 and exchange videos of themselves sexing at home.
After his “general tardiness”, Greenwood had several run-ins with his club team.
England sent Greenwood home disgracefully in September 2020 after Phil Foden and Greenwood broke Covid protocols. Foden invited two Icelandic women back to the hotel.
Both men apologized to the public, Greenwood promising to correct his “huge mistake”.
Foden, who scored two goals against Iceland, was invited back to the England team. Greenwood wasn’t.
MailOnline reported that Greenwood also got in trouble by hosting rowdy house parties during the coronavirus lockdown.
The striker was young and rented the 3-storey apartment through Airbnb “five or six times” during pandemic.

Gemili, a British sprinter said via Twitter that it was happening every day to thousands of people. All of us need to increase awareness in order to combat domestic violence.
Tory MP Ms Nokes said: ‘Investigation in allegations about Mason Greenwood should be for @gmpolice, not @ManUtd. Harriet Robson must have support because of her bravery and speaking out.
Jess Phillips MP stated that he had not heard of Mason Greenwood. He should be able to face the whole force of law unlike many others.
She said, “Until the case has been settled it would not be possible for him to play.”
Former footballer David Meyler wrote: ‘Shocked and disturbed seeing the Greenwood news.
“I hope that she is okay, and receiving the help she requires. You have to be brave enough to stand up for what you believe in and do it again.
Manchester United stated in a statement that they were aware of the allegations and images being circulated on social media.
“We won’t make any comment further until all facts are established.” Manchester United doesn’t condone any violence.
Greater Manchester Police spokesperson said, “Greater Manchester Police knows of any images or videos that are being circulated on social media.”
“Enquiries are continuing to establish the entire circumstance.”
Nike spokeswoman said, “We are deeply worried by the disturbing claims and will continue monitoring the situation.”
